Description of Work: This used to be an excellent company, not sure what happened but don't bother wasting your time with this company now. When you call, you'll be told "Randy is on the other line, please leave a message, and he will call you back." Unfortunately, Randy is always on the "other line" and never calls back. A quick look online this morning shows that the Right to Transact Business in Texas has "INVOLUNTARILY ENDED."

Description of Work: We had a breezeway gate installed to replace a wooden gate.

Description of Work: Security bars installed on 8 windows. Bedroom windows included keyless emergency exit releases.

Description of Work: We called Houston Security Iron and Mr. Pat Miller, the owner, answered the phone. That was a plus. We told him what we needed done and we made an appointment for an estimate on October 8th. The estimate went very well and we contracted Mr. Miller to have security bars and a security gate installed on our house. He said he would have the draft drawing ready for our review and approval in one to two days. The next day we received an email with the drawing and looked it over and told him to go ahead and build the bars and gate as shown. He said it would be two to two and a half weeks until it was ready. We were very pleased with the process so far so we didn't feel the need to call and check up on the progress of the job. Exactly 2 and 1/2weeks later, Mr. Miller called for an installation date. We arrange it for the next day around nine to nine thirty. He showed up with another man at 9:05 a.m. Installation went very well, although they did have to cut a little off one of the bars because of the way the window was made: it was not perfectly square. Mr. Miller and his worker were very professional and friendly as they installed the wrought iron security bars and gate. They explained everything to us and there were really no questions about most of what the job encompassed. The installation took 2 hours to complete which was the time we figured it would take. We had a very positive intereaction with Mr. Pat Miller and his staff. We were very pleased with the efficiency, knowledge and professtionalism this company showed us for this job. The price was within reason for the work that was done. He did ask for 1/3rd down to cover certain materials and the drawing to get the work started with the remaining balance due at completion. That was a reasonable request we thought. We give Houston Security Iron a A+++++++ rating! They were really super!! We will call them out again should we have any work that needs to be done.They really went that extra mile to make us happy!

Description of Work: Fabrication of an wrought Iron Security Gate at our courtyard entrance. Measurements taken, designs offered to us and production time all given to us on day 1 when Mr Miller arrived to quote on the gate.

Description of Work: I contacted Pat to have a security door installed on my back door. The door was to be installed with tamper-proof fasteners, and 4" screws to insure its frame is held to the door frame studs. Also, the lock could be re-keyed to match existing Schlage locks, if required.

Description of Work: They designed and installed a security gate for our front courtyard entrance.

Description of Work: Installed wrought Iron bars on door and windows.
