Houston Overhead Garage Door Company

It would be hard to list all the details. First of all I dealt with Friendswood Over head door company not the Houston group. My problems came from dealing with a supervisor not with the regular workmen, who unlike their boss made promises and kept their word. When I called a man named Scott came, he checked my door and said it did need some work and promised he'd be back at the same time tomorrow. He had asked me to move some things out of the way so he had room to work so I did. The next day he neither called or showed up. After a few days I called and Scott came again repeated the whole scenario except he didn't ask me to move anything. Again I waited all day for him to show up the next day as he promised. Again he never showed up. Again I called the office, and complained. I told them if they weren't able to come to at least call and leave a message. This time They sent three men to fix the job. They replaced the spring but were unable to put in the new lock. Turns out they had the wrong part and said they would be back same time tomorrow. Again they didn't come. I raised the garage door and it fell off the tracks. So it was stuck open with a lot of woodworking equipment inside. I had my husband call since they didn't seem to be paying attention to me. I received a call from Scott telling me he had left a message on my answering machine saying he was having trouble finding the part. I checked and he had left a message I had missed. They sent another worker who immediately fixed my door that day and replaced the tracks. He was nice, courteous, and worked hard. He replaced the wheels and even tightened the tracks. The garage door opened with ease. I was delighted. Scott decided that after all the problems I'd had, he would not charge me any more than the original $100. I had made for deposit.

He was prompt. I was embarrassed not to know to kick the eye sensors to align them . Everything that day went well. The problem using the garage door opener has returned and I am afraid to kick the sensors and do not know what to do. I have emailed this Company and am waiting to see if they can provide a permanent resolution or if they know someone who might have a fix that is more long lasting.
