Description of Work: Granite countertops and travertine backsplash were installed in our kitchen. A miscut was made on one piece of granite and the company was very reluctant to replace this piece. Low cost solutions were encouraged and it was even suggested that, should there be damage to adjacent granite while replacing the miscut piece, that we split the cost with the company of ordering additional granite. Twice, workers did not arrive when scheduled and, when the company was contacted, we were informed that they would be coming later in the day. This wasted our day and resulted in a crew being in our home late into the evening. Grouting of some areas of the backsplash was skipped. After the plumbing for the undermounted sink, the dishwasher did not drain. We did not notice these problems until the day after the work was "completed." These repairs were made by another contractor in our home to do another project. Ultimately, the kitchen looks fine, but the stress of working with this company greatly reduced the joy of the remodel.
