Description of Work: Would highly recommend!! After we had a pool installed our yard was a mess. James and his crew came in and planted new landscaping, replaced the lawn and fixed the drainage and sprinkler system. James was very responsive to correct any issues and was very accommodating for any changes we requested during the project. Due to the high level of service and good advice on landscaping, we will use Peace of Green to help maintain our yard.

Description of Work: I scheduled for one day and they switched the day without telling me. The switch may have been done because of weather but I would have preferred to be updated.

Description of Work: Mike Gavin gave us an estimate on landscaping, porch painting/repair and irrigation. Mike is friendly and enthusiastic but a little disorganized. He did cancel an appointment at the last minute once. The price was reasonable compared to other estimates we received. The project included removing sidewalk and placing pavers in the small courtyard at our front door and down the walkway and revamping a large flower bed, replacing the stone border and installing a new gravel driveway. He also provided a bid to place new drainage pipe. We haven't proceeded with the work because I am concerned about damaging an old oak tree next to the sidewalk and haven't decided what to do about it. Landscaping this area is problematic. I asked him for alternatives but the alternatives he emailed didn't pertain to the safety of the tree. Mike was willing to work within our budget. He came twice and amended the proposal 2 times after the original, so they did put work into our request. The follow-up communication from Earth Ideas was not really good. I did tell Mike once that we wanted to go ahead with the drainage pipe and just let me know when they could do it. He never got back with me on that part of the work. I thought maybe he wanted to wait and do the whole job at one time. The drain pipe installation was only for $500. We have been busy with other projects and haven't decided what to do about the landscaping yet and haven't ruled out using Earth Ideas for the job.

Description of Work: I found Green Peace on Angies List. Jim was prompt and punctual when we met him for the first time. He said he could and would perform all of the work we needed, which included rewiring our existing exterior lighting, getting our courtyard fountain cleaned and functioning, feeding and planting flowers/shrubs, along with weeding flowerbeds. Later on, he would remove a giant palm tree for us. We told him we wanted to be one of his yearly maintenance contracts at $140 monthly. He in turn told me that his reputation with Angies List was very important to him. He told us that he would begin work on April 3. He didn't show but later told my husband he would begin work on April 5. Again, no one showed to perform the work. My husband phoned him that night to say we no longer were interested in his company doing the work.

Description of Work: I called James on a Sunday afternoon and he answered the phone right away. He was able to come to our house 2 hours laters to give us an estimate on re-grading and soding part of our backyard. He said he would come the following Tuesday morning and he was at my house with his worker before 9:00 am (no sub-contractor!). Before beginning the work he checked in with me to make sure that we were on the same page as far as the work that we requested. He checked in with me several more times and didn't mind that I went back to check on them and see the work progress. He gave me very detailed instructions on how to take care of the new sod and told me to not hesitate to call him is anything started to die or the grading didn't work properly. Overall he was professional, easy to talk to and it only took days from the moment I called him until he was done with the job. He completed everything at about noon, completely clean-up and left our yard and driveway clean as is they were never at my house. I would recommend Peace of Green to anyone looking for quality landscaping and yardwork.

Description of Work: Orginal bid escalated to twice of the orginal bid. Issues related to drainage pipes not being laid properly received a reponse of "I would rather be doing something else". He would not come back to fix problems even though we offered to pay him to fix what Arbor should have done right the first time. Avoid this company.
