custom cabinets
+ -1 moreALBERTO WAS DECISIVE AND CLEAR ABOUT WHAT HE COULD DO AND WHAT HE COULD NOT DO. THIS IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE THIS WAS OUR SECOND TRY AT CABINETS. THE FIRST GUY DID NOT REALIZE SOME OF HIS OWN LIMITATIONS. HE VOLUNTEERED "BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY" BY OFFERING TO TAKE OUR SINK AND TRY TO MAXIMIZE THE DRAWER SPACE. ALBERTO WAS PROFESSIONAL, HIS SHOP, THOUGH MODEST, IS EASY TO FIND AND HE WAS ALWAYS THERE WHEN I NEEDED TO REACH HIM.
Description of Work: ALBERTO BUILT TWO CABINETS TO OUR SPECIFICATIONS. ONE WAS A SMALL BATHROOM VANITY, 20 INCHES DEEP BY 32 INCHES LONG BY 36 INCHES TALL. IN ORDER TO FIT AS MANY DRAWERS AS POSSIBLE INTO SUCH A SMALL SPACE, ALBERTO TOOK MY SINK AND WORKED WITH IT TO MAXIMIZE SPACE. ALSO WORKED AROUND A PROBLEM WITH NEEDING MORE SPACE IN BACK FOR THE WATER SUPPLY HANDLES. TOO TRICKY TO EXPLAIN HERE BUT BOTTOM LINE, HE DID EXCELLENT WORK. ALSO INCLUDED IN PRICE WAS A CABINET (ALSO TOTALLY CUSTOM) 19 INCHES WIDE BY 30 INCHES TALL AND 10 INCHES DEEP FOR USE ABOVE THE TOILET ON THE WALL IN THE SAME BATHROOM. BOTH CABINETS WERE FINISHED WITH A MAHOGANY STAIN AND LACQUERED. THE FINISH WAS VERY EXCEPTIONALLY WELL DONE. CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS. ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE HARDWARE SLIDES FOR THE DRAWERS WERE A BIT ON THE CHEAP SIDE. WILL ASK TO PAY FOR BETTER QUALITY NEXT TIME.
