Did a great job pointing out some flaws that needed correction.

Second time I request these guys and they are amazing. As part of the inspection Mike gives a tour that will get you familiarized with the entire house in case of any problem. Definitely recommend!

Mandy was prompt, courteous, and helpful in setting up the appointment. David showed up on time and was very thorough in his inspection. He answered all of my questions and even pointed out things that were not a part of the report. The inspection report was very detailed and a huge help in negotiating with the sellers. I will definitely use them again.

David showed up a few minutes early, and then took nearly four hours to give this new house the once over. He was very through, and made sure I understood how everything he was inspecting worked, and what he was looking for. Our builders, J. Patrick Homes, are top-notch, so there weren't a lot of things that he spotted, but he did notice some significant oversights, like a missing electric plug for the rotisserie on the outdoor kitchen. Overall, Texas Inspection Partners did an excellent job, and I would certainly use them in the future.

Very professional. David Smith, the inspector, was on time, and conducted a through walkthrough of the house and the various systems that were installed. He noted some defects that, frankly, we wouldn't have thought to question. We were able to get the builder to make correction, and just in time - they'd planned to begin sheetrocking the house the next day, until we brought these items up. I intend to use them for our final inspection next month.

Was the easiest part of the home buying process thus far. Called on a Thursday got an inspection scheduled for Saturday. Jerry was amazing! On time professional answered all my questions and was very personable! You could tell he knew what he was doing!!

The inspection was performed by Mike Elmore and was extremely thorough. Mike arrived early and provided an extensive report. I, as the buyer, was present for the inspection and Mike walked me through every aspect of his inspection from start to finish. He was very detailed in describing most likely causes of damage and the long-term potential effects. Pointed out areas that were not currently areas of concern but could become issues if not addressed with routine maitenance. Mike was also extremely helpful in pointing out maintenance tips as we went through the property. I would definitely use this provider again as I felt they delivered exceptional service.

We worked with Mike Elmore at TIP. He arrived on time, and prepared for a packed 2 hours of inspection services. He was efficient, thorough, and a fantastic communicator. He made my husband feel very comfortable about all of the details of our new home, and was very detailed about educating us about things that we need to ask about and look out for from the builder. What struck me the most about TIP was the price. We received quotes from a few other inspection companies that were $200-400 higher than TIP and I'm sure the job that was done was equal in quality. Why pay $800 when you can get fantastic results and service for $335?

We were able to get an appointment scheduled for the next day and felt the price was very competitive. David arrived on-time (actually he was early) and got straight to work. He was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I stayed for the entire inspection, and he was able to answer any questions I had. We haven't had the best experience with inspectors in the past, and we were very pleased with the services and final report provided by TIP. We would definitely use them again in the future.

Mike did our inspection and he was absolutely amazing, I can't say enough nice things about this guy. My mom and I were really impressed with how nice he was, as soon as we got there he was quick to catch us up on what he had inspected, and issued he had found thus far. He took us around and showed us everything that would be in his report, this way we knew what he was talking about. It was a very educational experience for us because we obviously don't know much about code, and helped explain to us where/why there was an issue. I would definitely use this company in the future. I'm glad that I read the reviews on here before going with another company, because everyone who gave them a good review is absolutely right about this company. Great company!

Mike Elmore was my inspector. He showed up right on time with a friendly demeanor. I have had other inspections and was told that I could not walk around with the inspector - just had to wait until the end then would be informed. That was not the case with Mike. He graciously told my realtor and me that we should walk with him as he inspected so he could explain what he had issues with and why. We were so impressed and learned so much from the inspection. Mike meticulously went over the different aspects of the house inside and out. Now I have a report that I can see clear pictures with details to go back to the seller with and determine if this house is feasible for me . In this world of mediocrity, TIP and their most valuable asset Mike Elmore are stand outs. They are professional from start to finish and grateful for my business. That is a rare find. I'm a Realtor, and have worked with TIP several times. They are always easy to work with, prompt and professional. They provide my clients with very detailed reports, and they really do a very thorough job. They are also always available to answer my client's questions. I also like that you are able to schedule both a structural & mechanical inspection and a termite inspection at the same time. The Option Period can be stressful, and it's nice to know that TIP is on the consumer's side.

Before I purchase my first house, I was referred to join Angies list to get a good home inspector because it is the biggest purchase I ever make. I choose TIP bc they was rank at the top with award for quality work. I found out this was not the case after I closed on my first house. There was so many plumbing problem that the inspector miss or never inspect. Leaking water pipe in the attic bc the galvanized pipe corroded from the inside out. Valves was leaking that was not on the report. I even told the inspector of the leaking gutter but it was not on the report. I ask him to check to see if the exhaust is vented outside instead of to the attic. He never check it even when I ask. It was vented into the attic. AC was running constantly and I found out that the duct in the attic was leaking at so many places. He never look at the duct work either. Now I realized that the inspector was in the attic no more then 5 min. I even ask him how old was the AC/Heater and he did know so he went back up to find out. He did even know the house had aluminum wires until I told him. There is so many open wires in the attic that he never look at. The box on the wall which he did not know what it is. The inspector only been in the attic for 5 min and claim to did a termite inspection. TIP inspector miss so many items that it is hard to believe that he has been doing inspection for 15 years. They claim to be professional when they are not. They claim to do a complete inspection when they did not. This is just out right fraud. Not sure how they got there high ranking on Angies lists.

Mike was great. He was very patient and explained everything that he was doing and the reasons for doing them. He was very honest and told me many things to pay attention to. Overall, the inspection was thorough and I learned a lot from attending the actual inspection.

I was very pleased with the home inspection and professional report conducted by TIP. The inspector (Mike Elmore) was very professional and Glen Wharton (managing partner) was very easy to work with. Mike made time at the end of the inspection to explain all deficiencies found and took many pictures to validate. TIP provided a very extensive inspection of the home I was preparing to purchase that allowed me to make an appripriate offer. I would highly recommend TIP to anyone who wanted or needed a general home inspection especially prior to purchasing or selling a home.

Jerry arrived punctually and completed the inspection in a typical amount of time. I was pleased with the suggestions that he made. He carried himself professionally and checked things I would have never considered. His inspection of the attic was most impressive and I am completely satisfied with the service he provided. I was excited to read about this company and I contacted them for an inspection. They were quick in responding with a quote of $420, which was not the lowest we'd found, but was still very reasonable. I emailed the rep that I wanted to get the inspection this week and during our option period. She emailed me back and told me she had two openings. I did take a couple of hours, but thought she would hold one of those open for me due to my indication that I was going to use their firm. I was very disappointed when I emailed back and was told there were no inspectors available. How frustrating and I had to scramble to find someone else who was not as thorough or as professional. I would say when a customer says they want an inspection, you hold a slot open for them. I can testify that their receptionist was friendly and prompt and I have heard good things about this firm. But they need to use a different approach to scheduling.

TIP came out to do an inspection on a home I was purchasing. They were very thorough, finding many deficiencies, which gave me a stronger negotiating position. The report was detailed and specific with all the concerns visually documented. I felt like I got all the info I needed to make my purchase decision.

Mike was great. My wife and I both walked through the house with home and he explained everything. He pointed out issues an did a good job of telling us what were big issues and what were more minor issues. He took time to show me what he was looking for and let me look for myself

While the building process was a true nightmare, This was an AWESOME experience. David Smith is. by far, best. He took the time to educate us on items we need to know as a new home owner while completing his report. He also ensured we understood all the items that need attention.
