Mike Elmore was excellent. He was on time and very professional. He educated me during the entire process. He spoke in simple terms and was very thorough. Even though I did not buy the house, I would use the services of Texas Inspection Partners again.

They showed up on time. I have no complaints with them. I am completely satisfied with their services. The price was a little high, but they had good service.

They were really good. The guy that came was very thorough, and he took detailed pictures. He took about 4 hours to finish the inspection. He went through details. I would recommend them to others. They were cheaper than the other companies. I rate them high overall. They were able to come on a Saturday on a short notice. That was very nice. I will use them again in the future.

I had requested the inspector Dave Smith, show up when I arrived and left instructions to do so. Instead he showed up early and was almost done with the inspection. I wanted to be there for most of the inspection. So I am still not sure what happened before I got there. My concern is that several details involving discolored spots on the ceiling where not addressed at all or in the report. He also did not do a thorough job on going over the paint on the inside of the house and problems with coating. I felt the inspection was rushed and he didn't seem to have a demeanor that addressed the concerns of a first time home buyer. I was orignally set for Glenn Wharton, but due to schedule conflicts I had gotten Dave as my inspector. If I would have gotten Glenn I believe the attention and information that I need as a first time home buyer would be met. Glenn had been very helpful in clearing up issues with the insurance company trying to overinsure my home due to an incorrect description of my home's building material. I used a different inspector before and felt my concerns and feelings as a first time homebuyer were meet and at a good price. He was unavailable for this home, otherwise I would have used him. I would only refer others to Glenn and no one else. I believe my inspection was only average and par. I still see obvious details that any inspector should have pointed out, ESPECIALLY to a first time home buyer.

They charged me $400 for the inspection. They had some equipment that the other inspection services did not have. They had technology that allowed them to look for leaks in the walls; that was very beneficial. They actually found something that most inspectors wouldn?t have found. They gave me a very comprehensive report. The only trouble I had with them was that they didn?t take credit cards. I didn?t have a bank account then. So, I had to quickly arrange for some cash. Other than that, I was really satisfied with them. I will use this company again in the future.

I have nothing but good stuff to say about them. He spent almost 4 hours and one of the things I really appreciated because one of his questions to me was whether or not I had ever owned a home in the southern climate which we had not. He definitely took his time to talk about maintenance and pointers as far as what to do with a house and each step of the way as far as the inspection stuff, what to be mindful of with respect to down the road maintenance and make sure that the house wouldn't suffer from insect damage or anything else. The guy was absolutely thorough I felt and definitely most professional. I would highly recommend him. I actually provided that feedback to my realtor because they had not used him yet and based on that I feel that they definitely will be trying him out or putting him on the recommended list. I was very impressed with him.

Went great and by the end of the inpection we reviewed the report and i had the final copy the same day. His years of experience really gave me the conifidence that he did quality work.

It was great. We benefited from his years of experience in the field and he was very honest and forthcoming on all the information. Through every step of the process he kept us informed, made sure we understood the impact of the problem and allowed us to ask questions. We home to find a great home, Texas Inspection Partners allowed us to look at the home with a unique perspective. This view allows us to make an informed decision.

My wife & I have owned three homes. Here is how I found Glenn: we sold a home in The Woodlands and Glenn was the inspector for the buyer. I was so impressed that Glenn took so much time with the buyer to methodically explain every nuance of our old home and I called him to inspect our next home purchase, a 26 year old home in The Woodlands. Our experience with Glenn was far superior to other inspectors for a few reasons. One, Glenn is highly knowledgeable and he educated me about my home. I feel like I now understand how my house works and why. He explained everything about the house, one room at time. I also feel like I have working knowledge of repairs, a priority list, how to maintain this beautiful home, etc. For example, Glenn also helped us identify a few problem repairs that demand immediate attention as well as things to plan for down the path. Frankly, I'm so impressed that I intend to ask him back every 3-4 years to reinspect the home and to build a repair list. He is honest, frank, and highly knowledgeable. I recommend Glenn Wharton without reservation

Excellent inspector. Found a couple of issues including a very small water leak...saved me from having to deal with it later. Highly recommend George and will use him again if needed.

From start to finish, George was very professional and offered us his takes on the quality of work done at both homes we made serious offers on, based on what we were looking for and what our concerns were. My wife had used his services earlier and I am glad we used his skills for the inspection on the first home since we decided not to purchase it after he educated us on the flaws in the work done. We used him for the inspection on the second home and he took almost an hour to walk through with us after he completed his inspection and then forwarded the report and a CD with pictures the same evening. Even before beginning, he asked questions and wanted to get a feel for the home and his client before coming and doing an inspection, something that I appreciated since I could convey my concerns to him even before he began. I forgot my checkbook the second time and he graciously allowed me to mail him a check rather than holding back his report because he trusted me enough. He is a tad bit expensive but very thorough and if he's still around when I buy another home, I'd use him again in a heartbeat!

I called him on the weekend and he gave me his availability. I scheduled him on a Friday and he showed up early and did a thorough job. He took pictures of the problem areas in the attic, crawl space, roof and provided them on a CD. He also wrote up his assessment of each part of the property. Verbally he gave me estimated repair costs and provided different possibilities based on my situation. George was very knowledgeable and pointed out things about the house that would add expense to repairs, also how to reduce expenses in the future through adding access, moving the house during foundation repair, etc.

The inspection was great. George is very thorough and explains all of the issues he finds in detail. I had to search fairly extensively to find an inspector that still did pier and beam and George came through. His knowledge of older homes is invaluable if you are looking to buy in one of the established areas in Houston like the Heights or Third Ward. He definitely earned my future business. I would not consider buying a home without a Housecheck inspection first.

Very well. Showed up on time with all necessary tools and with appropriate codes to gain access to building and unit. Very informative during inspection. Took approximately two hours as promised. Received extensive report that evening via e-mail.

I called 3 days in advance and George worked to my schedule. I had a previous inspection report from a different company for reference. George did a comparable inspection as the previous company, but identified some new items. In all, the new items George identified seemed more relevant than some of the items from the previous report that he didn't identify. He was very talkative and answered many questions of mine. It was a good experience. The only thing I didn't like was that he took lots of photos, but didn't include any in his report. I'm sure they would have been available for backup had I asked, but I prefer not to have to ask. In this digital age, I thought it would have been simple to include some pertinent photos in the report. One benefit was George was very familiar with my neighborhood (Heights) and had actually inspected 2 other houses on my block in the past.

This was the most thorough house inspection I've ever seen, and I've seen 5 or 6 in my life. I received a 24 page write up of the inspection by email within 24 hours, but I also accompanied the inspector as he did his work and learned a lot from him - I would recommend this to everyone if you can spare the time. I found this firm through Angie's List, and am entirely pleased. The inspector's name was George Szontagh.

He was patient, and explained thoroughly all the work that needed to be accomplished in this old house. To people who are not savvy about such matters, it meant a great deal that he could do this. He was punctual and professional. At the time we called, we thought the house was smaller than it actually was, but he only charged us the quoted price. He was friendly.

George was extremely professional and thorough and his report was very comprehensive. Everyone who has seen the report--my realtor, electrical and HVAC contractors--commented that they were very impressed. I don't expect to need home inspection services again anytime soon, but would not hesitate to recommend him.

MR. SZONTAGH ARRIVED ON TIME AND I JOINED HIM FOR THE ENTIRE THREE HOUR INSPECTION. I FOLLOWED HIM AROUND THE HOUSE, ATTIC AND YARD, NOTING HIS OBERSERVATIONS AND ASKING QUESTIONS. HE ADDRESSED ALL MY CONCERNS. THIS IS MY FIRST HOME AND FIRST INSPECTION, BUT I SCANNED THROUGH PREVIOUS INSPECTION REPORTS TO PREPARE FOR THIS ONE. I THINK MR. SZONTAGH PERFORMED A THOROUGH AND CAREFUL INSPECTION. THE FINAL INSPECTION REPORT DID NOT CONTAIN GRAMMATICAL MISTAKES AS DID ANOTHER ONE I READ (WHICH WAS PREPARED BY AN ENGINEER).

GEORGE WAS VERY THOROUGH AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME. I WAS PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE.
