Mike Elmore performed the inspection, and it went very smoothly. He was professional, took the time to explain his findings to me, and provided a quality report within 12 hours.

Arrived on time. I was the buyer of the property. The inspector took me around the house with him pointing out and discussing anything he saw. Inspection actually went fairly quick as the house is in good shape. Inspectors report was very complete and I am very satisfied.

Very punctual, very professional. They went above and beyond to be helpful. And just in general, homeowner 101, as we went through the house, i.e. pointing out common trouble spots and how you could be aware of them. Homes don't come with a user manual. You can't cover everything. So there was advice and other little things as we went through the house on the inspection and that was really helpful, above and beyond just telling me if the home was a good value or not. I would recommend them to other people.

I am a realtor in The Woodlands, TX and many of my clients/buyers have used Glenn Wharton of Texas Inspection Partners for several years now to complete a home inspection before purchasing a new home. Glenn and his partner, David, are both very thorough and professional in conducting home inspections. They arrive on time, and then give my client an explanatory walk-through of their findings, pointing out items of concern vs. items needing repair but of little consequence/expense. They also give my clients new homeowner maintenance tips. They promptly provide a detailed written report of their findings to my client, including photographs with detailed explanations of their findings. Their fees are comparable to other inspectors' fees.

They identified a number of issues that will have to be addressed which gives my contractor a good starting point for the property.

The entire process went very well and I'm very pleased with his service. The inspection took 4 and a half hours from 10am to 2:30pm. When I woke up the next morning around 8am the reports were already in my e-mail inbox! The price was very reasonable compared to the other inspection companies.

Glenn, the owner of the company, came out to inspect our home. I was unable to be there, so he met my mother at the house for the inspection. She was incredibly impressed with his professionalism and patience in pointing out details of what he was doing and what needed to be fixed with the house. The inspection was performed the day of our final walk through so he even helped mark spots that needed to be touched up. He completed his report and sent it out the next day, so he was incredibly prompt. I have been very impressed with the company, as I have received multiple follow up emails. They go the extra mile and will even give advice to homeowners on home repair options and contractors they recommend. Great service at a great value from great people.

The inspector, David Smith, arrived on-time and looked very thouroughly through the home and explained to me the various defects and why they may be a problem for me. The inspection report was delivered that evening. My only complaint about the service is that they could not book my inspection sooner because of the companies schedule.

First of all, Mandy seems to be the voice of the company. Being a first time homebuyer, the whole inspection process is a bit overwhelming. Within seconds, I was put at ease by Mandy. She came across as very real, extremely polite, and very informative! Glenn performed our home inspection. We were late, and when we got there, he was all setup and had gotten started inspecting the exterior of the home. We were able to jump right in and tag along with him. He was very open to answering any questions my husband and I had. I felt as if he used the same attention to detail as he would have if he were looking to buy the home himself. We also had a wood eating insect inspection at the same time of equal professionalism and quality. Very Satisfied!

They did a good job. I felt the price was reasonable, however, they did a termite inspection for an additional $75.00 and I felt it wasn’t worth the money. They didn’t check anywhere other than my foundation. I would recommend them to others, but be wary of the termite inspection.

Dave Smith performed my inspection and he exceeded all my expectations. He was prompt, professional and personable - answered all my questions and some I didn't know to ask. He went over everything in detail and made recommendations I plan to follow. He checked every outlet, all the plumbing, the attic; pointed out details that showed good construction and told me things I should look for and ask about in my walk-through with the builder. He also went over everything in his report so I understood it, and emailed me his report that same night.

Everything went just great!!

We are first-time home buyers who had just made our first offer on a home. We knew that we only had 14 days to get inspections done and get out of our contract, if necessary. Texas Inspection Partners was able to have someone come out right away (I called on Friday, and the inspection was scheduled for Tuesday). It's great that they have home inspectors who are also termite certified so you can kill two birds with one stone. Mandy, who does the scheduling, is super efficient, extremely competent, and very friendly. Mike was the inspector who came out, and he encouraged me to tag along with him during the inspection so that, in addition to telling me about the items he would write up in the report, he could also teach me about what to look for on my own--e.g., how to tell if a home's gutters are properly dumping, how to look for telltale signs of termites around the foundation, what signs of water damage look like, etc., etc. I learned so much, and Mike was incredibly, incredibly thorough. He did not stop until he had inspected every outlet, light fixture, inside every cabinet and drawer. Mike's report arrived that night, and we were able to make a decision about the house immediately. Unfortunately, we are a little overwhelmed with the number of issues the home has, but the good news is we have an awesome inspection company and an awesome inspector that we will request by name the next time we put in an offer. Also, their price was very competitive--the $420 covered both the standard home inspection and the additional termite inspection. Other companies I called were over $420 for just the standard inspection.

Glenn and Tim arrived at the appointed time and conducted their inspection despite heavy rains. They were very professional examining the structure inside and out as well as the mechanicals. Their findings were detailed with recommendations of the things we might want to repair ourselves and those that might require a professional service. The digital report contained photos of problem areas which helped identify them for future repairs. They were knowledgable, thorough and efficient. We may use them again before closing on our new home.

Mandy let me know what to expect and was extremely helpful with the scheduling process. Although I haven't met my inspector face to face as of yet, his responses and reports have been delivered timely and professionally. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

Overall it was great. They did exactly what they said they were going to do, and the customer service was excellent (including the phone representative and the person who performed the inspection).

We had a termite and also a home inspection completed by Texas Inspection Partners. The technician Mike got to the job early and already had begun testing appliances,outlets, etc. When I arrived, I found him very professional and personable and he took me through every aspect of the home that we are purchasing. I took extensive notes and asked many questions and he seemed pleased to show me and explain in great detail how things operate in our new home. Being a woman and having no idea of numerous things pertaining to the functioning of a home, he made it easy to understand and quite interesting and gave many tips on energy efficiency and how to save money. By the end of the day, the complete report was done in detail, including pictures showing areas of concern and not only provided to me but went to our realtor without me even asking. The inspection was very thorough and reasonably priced and also convenient that the company could do both inspections for us. I will definitely recommend Texas Inspection Partners to anyone looking for efficiency, professionalism, affordibility and an outstanding job!

The Pest Inspector showed up later than the Home Inspectors and that was agreed to up front. They were all very professional and friendly. The situation was a little awkward as the Seller insisted on staying for the inspection. They just ignored him and did their jobs, not letting his input deter them from their mission. I will definitely use them again.

I met with Mike on an inspection of a 19 year old home I'm looking to purchase. Mike was extremely professional and invited me to walk through the home with him as he checked the exterior, interior and attic areas. A tremendous learning experience for myself and was great to have him point out the good and the bad of the house. He also spent time educating me on some of the features of the house, specifically he showed me how to release the water from the exposed areas of the sprinkler system during a freeze. Would definitely use them again and will likely have him inspect the house I'm about to sell to do a pre-listing inspection.

Mike with Texas Inspection Partners did a great job and since it is a new home we was able to get any items that needed to repaired taken care of well before the warranty would have expired. If you need a home inspection definitely give them a call.

I was very pleased with the knowledge and friendliness of the inspectors. David pointed out all of the potential issues with the home including how to operate the most important items, electrical panel, and water distribution panel to both my wife and me. I was very pleased with the profesionalism, findings, and would definitely recommend them again. They were also fair with the price.

Texas Inspection Partners, Glenn was professional, arrived on time, ensured all my questions were answered. When a more interesting find was discovered, he would specifically point it out to me. Glenn brought his experience from inspecting other homes as well as his own personal experience of living in a similar aged home to evaluate and provide feedback about my property. The report provided later that same afternoon, is a comprehensive report complete with pictures, summary and easily points out what definitely needs repairing. I am pleased and grateful to have the detailed historical reference information about our new home.

I would recommend Texas Inspection Partners without hesitation to anyone needing a thorough home inspection! I called on a Tuesday around lunch time to set up the home inspection. I was not able to get ahold of anyone and left a message stating what I needed with my call back number. I was a first time home buyer and was very anxious to get the inspection set up. I kept calling throughout the afternoon and didn't ever get a live person (I only left the one message). This was my ONLY frustration of the entire experience. (I could have left this part out of my review so as not to skew a negative view of the company bc the rest of my experience was so great, but I feel that you learn a lot about a company through how they handle their mistakes.) Finally at 5pm, I got a call from Mandy. She said was at lunch when I called the first time and wrote down my number to call me back, but stated she had gotten sidetracked. It was upon checking over her notes for the day that she realized she never returned my call. She apologized sincerely and was 100% focused on getting my inspection set up even though it was now past 5pm. As soon as I spoke to her, my frustrations from not getting a live person earlier in the day completely went away. She asked about the house and tried to match the skill of the inspector to the special needs of an older home. They did not have any availability until the following Monday. I really needed the inspection completed over the weekend so that my Dad could be there with me (as a single 20-something girl, I needed someone to be with me that I trusted who knew if I was being lied to or not!). She reviewed the schedule again to see if she could squeeze me in anywhere, but it wasn't possible at the time. I asked her to pencil me in for Monday and promised I would call within 24 hours to confirm if I would keep the appointment or go with another company that had weekend availability. After reading the other reviews for TIP on Angie's List and calling for quotes from other companies, I really wanted TIP. They were reasonably priced comparatively for the service and quality (based on the reviews). (I was in a little bit of sticker shock with the prices at first, but after calling around, I realized for the age of my home and the fact that it was pier and beam, TIP had a very competitive price.) But I was on a deadline. When I called back the next morning, Mandy went over the schedule yet again to see if she could make any tweaks to accommodate my request. After a few moments, she was able to schedule me for Saturday afternoon with Mike Elmore. I received a confirmation online and their system was really easy to navigate. I was able to accept the service agreement and pay online as well as see the services I was scheduled to receive all before my appointment. I was about 5 mins late to the appointment and Mike was already there. He was friendly and professional and talked to me directly and didn't just talk to my parents (like some vendors tend to do...ahem car salesmen!). He understood that this was going to be MY house and he was happy that I would be there during the entire inspection. He said he saw home inspections as basically a Home Owners 101 introduction class...a chance to meet and understand the house I was wanting to buy. During the entire inspection, he took the time to explain not only what he was looking for, but why he was looking for it and how I should care for specific aspects of the home. No question was too trivial and he took the time to ensure that I understood what he was explaining. He made it seem like my home inspection was his only priority of the day. He also respected that my parents were there to help me and included them in the inspection. Mike invited my Dad to join him in the attic inspection and took my Dad's comments and suggestions seriously. If my Dad said something like "It looks like the shingles over there are a little loose," Mike would answer with something like "I think you are right. Let's take a closer look." He never got frustrated that there was someone looking over his shoulder. Mike put not only my fears at ease, but also my parents. He was very thorough and if something didn't settle right with him, Mike would keep looking until he figured it out. At the end of the inspection, he went recapped the inspection, highlighting his suggestions and promised to have the full report with pictures to me by the next morning. He said normally it would be same day, but since it was an afternoon inspection and there was a lot to type up, he wanted to make sure he got it correctly documented and asked if it was okay if he could send it the next day. Sure enough, I received the report the next day and it was typed up with exactly what we went over with the pictures attached as back up. The report was very easy to read and was also uploaded to their site for easy access. Now, this is not to say my inspection went well with the findings. I had structural damage, plumbing issues, electrical issues, etc. Mike even put us at ease about all of that! He told us to not give up hope on the house and approach the sellers to fix the issues. The sellers agreed to fix the items I asked for, plus some others that I didn't that were on the report. After the corrections were made, I called Mandy to schedule a re-inspection (for my piece of mind!) for an additional $125, again with Mike. (No issues on getting ahold of someone this time.) She remembered me and had all the information on the house pulled up. This time I went by myself to the inspection. My Dad completely trusted his judgement (which is HUGE). Mike was just as thorough as the first time, again crawling under the house and taking pictures of all his findings. At the end of the re-inspection, Mike made sure I had his card and told me to call if I or my parents had any questions at all, even if it was a year later. I know this is not an empty promise, because if you spend any time at all with him, you know everything he says is sincere. I received the re-inspection report that evening and was able to highlight areas that the sellers still needed to work on before closing the next week. I went in to closing knowing that the house I was purchasing was sound (and I'm a huge worrier!). I know my review is long, but a simple "They were great" just wouldn't do!!! They deserve a review of their work just as thorough as the work they performed on my house. I don't plan on moving anytime soon, but when I go to buy my next house, it's pretty certain that I will be a repeat customer. THANK YOU MIKE!!!!
