+ -1 moreTook some time to find parts and then additional problems were discovered which required additional parts. Overall very good service and reasonable in time taken to repair. Diagnosis was quick. One problem I had when computer was returned, it now says the Windows operating program is not genuine, and therefore, won't update or allow changes. I can't reload, because I don't have the original disk. Not sure if this is going to cause more problems in the future.
Description of Work: Replaced motherboard and memory stick in computer.

+ -1 moreEric came (just a bit late) and he worked on my PC. He told me what was happening, said I needed more memory and he fixed that and did a few other things that would help and got rid of some things I didn't need.. He had some time left for the hour and asked me if there was anything I wanted to know because I had told him I was looking into taking a class and he said that he teaches a class. Anyway, I was impressed with his work. I had first e-mailed him and he called me back that same day, but I was out and he left a message. I called him back, but he wasn't in and the girl took the message. He did call back and we set up a day and time (very accommodating). He called me on the day to confirm our booking. He did a great job. Now my PC is running much better. Thank You Eric!

+ -1 moreHonest Guy went above and beyond my expectations. They were extremely professional and I love the manner in which they conduct business. It was great to talk to the Tech the first time I called and have him fix it within a day. They even gave me a follow up call a week later to make sure it was running smoothly. I even thought it was going to cost me a fortune to repair it, however, it was very reasonable compared to other companies out there. I couldn't ask for more because all my questions were answered, any concerns I had were addressed and the tech was patient, respectful, and very knowledgeable. I am completely satisfied with my repair and haven't had any problems since. I will definitely call them again!
Description of Work: I contacted Honest Guy Computer Repair because my laptop had been very slow - it had multiple pop-ups and I just couldn't get it to work like before. When I called, they were able to transfer me to an IT Tech right away. From there I was able to explain the issues I had with my laptop and the tech explained to me why my computer had not been functioning properly. Based on the symptoms, he believed I had a virus on my laptop. From there I was given a quote and was able to get my appointment. They said I would have my laptop back within 24 hours which was great since I needed my laptop to do a paper the next day. The tech was able to rid the multiple viruses I had on my laptop. Since the repair, I've seen a significance difference. It's running so much faster and it was just like how it was when I first bought it!
