They are great and do a superb job. I have been using them since 2003. The people who come out are good and great.

They come on a quarterly basis to spray for insects and bugs. The quality of service is excellent. Any time I have an issue in between treatments they come right back out for another treatment. They helped me when I thought I had mice. They are good. When we call them they come the next day.

They call and confirm the appointments. They ask if you need anything else. They also come back if you have any issues. I would use them in the future.

My overall experience is fine. If I have any kind of problem they come right out. Their punctuality is fine. They are good on professionalism. They do what they are supposed to do. I like them. I don’t have any bugs. I would use them in the future.

Home Team Defense apparently bought Pest Bear. I say apparently because nobody informed me. Home Team just showed up one day and said we're your new pest company. So I called Pest Bear and discovered they were closed down. I had a good agreement with Pest Bear and Home Team honored the same deal - I paid $65 4 times a year and they would come out every 3 months. If I had any problems in between my services, they would come handle them at no cost. So they came out for their regular visit a few months ago and a week later I had silverfish and ant problems. So I called, left a messaged and called back several times throughout the day trying to get ahold of them. Finally, about 6 hours later someone returned my call and set a date to come back out for further service. They came out sprayed (what I believe was probably just water) and they were on their way. A couple weeks go by and more of the same problems. I call - I have similiar issues trying to reach them. We again set another time. We also set an appointment for my parents house because I was house-sitting for them because they were out of town (who were also customers of Home Team, and having the same problems.) They came out to my house and sprayed and I told service man that I would meet him downthe street at my parent's house. He said they weren't on the schedule. I explained that I scheduled both of our visits the day before and I explained all of this to the receptionist. He said that he didn't have time to stop and that he called and set another appointment for the next day from noon to 5. The next day nobody showed up. I called. Nobody answered. I've called several time since then and left messages and nobody answers or calls me back. Needless to say, I am no longer using Home Team. Their service was awful. I suspect they sprayed either water or a highly watered down solution.

Recently I submitted a report about PestBear Exterminating. This was one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Home Team Pest Defense bought out Pest Bear shorly after I fired them. Home Team Pest Defense called in response to my earlier complaints and asked that I try them. I did. They came out and completely re-did the shoddy work done by Pest Bear. Pest Bear had installed 10 Termite Bait stations, Home Team installed 28 stations. These stations were also much better quality and childproof. They also mapped out a graph of the stations and explained in detail their processes and procedures on how often they would come out and what they would do if they found termites. All this without charging me additional monies. They also are reversing the charges for the home termite treatment that was never done by Pest Bear. That was $1300. Also, shortly after the new stations were installed the District Manager called me to make sure the work was satisfactory. So far I am very satisfied with Home Team Pest Defense.

They come out whenever we need inbetween regular maintenance sprays. They are very willing to walk through the house with me while spraying so that I can point out hotspots. They don't mind spraying extra to make sure the job is done right. They also allow you to request a specific technician. They also will come out on Saturdays.

We would use them again.

They come quarterly and spray the exterior perimeter of the house. They will also make extra trips for no additional charge if I find bugs inside the house, typically sugar ants in the kitchen area. Their work is very effective and I hardly find live bugs inside my house. They are reliable and come regularly. The pesticides they use are a bit maloderous, but it is sprayed outside so I don't care. I would rate them high overall. I have no complaints about them and their price is okay. They are very responsive. I would continue to use them in the future.
