Description of Work: I needed a small section of siding repaired & left the provider a message. Vicky called me back and informed me that the company does not handle jobs that small. She could've stopped there, but instead went on to recommend a handyman AND suggested questions for me to ask the handyman to make sure he's good. She also suggested the range I should pay for the repair. Vicky definitely went above and beyond to help me as best she could, considering the job was too small for the company.

Description of Work: Home Exterior Systems put Hardi Plank on our dormers and they put gutters and downspouts on our house and garage. They did an excellent job. We are very happy with everything they did for us. I would use them again if I need more work done.

Description of Work: Home Exterior Systems replaced all the windows on my house. They were efficient and thorough. They were almost flawless, except for leaving broken glass under one window and not cleaning the last few windows until I asked them to return. They had replaced my siding a few years ago and did an equally good job. I recommend them.

Description of Work: HES came out to my house to estimate the cost of doing a Hardie-Plank replacement of my existing vinyl siding. I was impressed with their attention to details while working up the estimate. HES was the only vendor that presented me with an estimate that broke the job down into the exact materials to be used and estimated labor. All of the other vendors used a pre-canned form that really addressed the job from a 30,000 foot viewpoint. HES was not cheapest vendor, but they came across as the one that I figured would deliver what the promised on time. Sadly, we were not able to go forward with the job at this time. A crack in my foundation was found and the Jardie-Plank is a very stiff siding; therefore it will be necessary to fix the foundation first before returning to the issue of the siding. HES were very good about the issue and tore up the contract. They did not have to, but these are the type of folks at HES

Description of Work: Home Exterior Systems was great - I can't say enough about them!! My experience was positive from the very beginning to the very end. Everyone that I dealt with, from the business side to the working crew was professional. They replaced all of my siding with Hardi Plank, power washed, painted and installed new exterior doors. The price they quoted me was the lowest out of all the bids I received and they were the most recommended company from other customers. I highly recommend Home Exterior Systems and I will be using them again in the future for other projects that I have planned.

Vicki even called to follow up and make sure I was able to get the help I needed! If they are this helpful to a non-paying paying customer, imagine the level of service for someone who is paying! + 0 moreThey were in the area, and the owner of the company came out. They gave a pretty good quote, so I went with them. The first crew that replaced the siding did a good job. They were efficient; they didn't make a mess; and they did a good job. When the painters came, it was a different story. The first guy did a great job. The next day, they sent two guys over. Everything up until then was really good. These two guys ruined the whole experience for me. They were sloppy and loud. They were playing loud music; the neighbors were complaining. They left a huge mess. They took the old shutters off and said they could put new ones on. They did a really bad job with those, and they put them on crooked. They destroyed the original shutters when they were removing them from the house. I called the owner and voiced my concern. He came over with the two guys and had me tell him what my complaints were in front of them. The owner said that he had been on jobs with them, and that he had heard them saying cuss words as well. It just wasn't acceptable. He sent a couple of guys to fix it up. They did an okay job. They had to repaint one door.
Description of Work: The replaced the siding on our garage. They also replaced the faceboards on the house. They replaced the porch ceiling and shutters.

+ -1 moreWith the holidays here I have not decided on a company for the work yet. I got a quote from them for the work. I then looked them up on Angie's List and saw they offered a 10% discount to members. When I called back and brought that to their attention they said they could not honor that quote, that I had to mention it from the start. That way they could give me a higher quote so they could still get back to their original price. This was the one issue I came across with them. We went back and forth regarding this issue. The gentlman that gave the quote arrived on time, put everything on paper and gave a good quote. They were the most reasonable quote I had. They really wanted to take the time to help me with the sidiing. I have just now taken my time once the issue with the discount came up. The only problem was when I asked about the discount and they did not want to honor it. They are a company I would do business with.
Description of Work: I got a quote from them regarding siding, not including soffets. Upstairs, 3 walls and 2 on the back.

Description of Work: Mr. Sanchez was very prompt in arranging for an estimate of work to be done. . Provided a detailed written proposal on the spot. Price was competitive. Work entailed Painting of wood on exterior of a brick house, repair of rotten wood and siding, water blasting, two coats of paint (10+gallons). Work was performed efficiently and courteously. Area ws cleaned up each day. Job ws a ++ experience. In addition their work is warrentied for 12 years and company is covered by insurance. Also provided a long list of references.
