+ -1 moreIt went pretty well overall. They only had one problem with the installation. A few minutes after they left it started leaking because the seal wasn't that great. I called them and they came back the next day to take care of that.
Description of Work: They came out to my house and replaced an old toilet.

+ -1 moreThe entire experience was abominable. Home Depot forgot to order the hardware for the doors and the measured the framing wrong, so I ended up measuring it myself. It took them two and a half months to complete this job. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: We had two new 8 by 7 garage doors installed. They also, removed the old ones.

+ -1 moreHome Depot sub-contracted the work out to a roofing company who did a great job. They finished quickly and did an excellent job cleaning up. They made sure no nails were left in my yard. They had all the right tools to get the job done. We have had no problems with our new roof.
Description of Work: They tore off my old roof and installed new asphalt shingles on my home.

+ -1 moreHome Depot did an alright but average job on my garage. The garage door still is not working properly. I felt the price quote was kind of costly. Even though I am still not quite happy, I would probably still use them again.

+ 0 morePLACED THE ORDER AT MY LOCAL HOME DEPOT. A SUB-CONTRACTOR CAME TO MEASURE MY BATHROOM 1 WEEK LATER. THOSE NUMBERS WERE SENT BACK TO HOME DEPOT, BUT THEY DID NOT NOTIFY THE DALLAS HEADQUARTER OFFICE WHO SCHEDULES THE INSTALLER. THEY ALSO LOST MY TILE SELECTION SEVERAL TIMES EVEN THOUGH IT WAS "IN THE COMPUTER." AFTER SEVERAL TRIPS AND PHONE CALLS TO HOME DEPOT IN HOUSTON AND DALLAS, I FINALLY GOT AN APPOINTMENT TWO WEEKS LATER. I PAID IN FULL. ON THE DAY, SUB-CONTRACTOR PLUMBER REMOVED TOILET AND SAID BILL WOULD BE $200 MORE TO FIX FLANGE. NEXT, SUB-CONTRACTOR INSTALLER SAID PRICE WOULD BE SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE BECAUSE MEASURER CITED WRONG SUB-FLOOR MATERIAL. I CANCELLED THE ORDER AND GOT MY MONEY BACK. HOME DEPOT EMPLOYEES WERE UNPROFESSIONAL AND SURLY (I WAS HUNG UP ON THE PHONE SEVERAL TIMES). THERE WAS POOR COMMUNICATION BETWEEN LOCAL AND HEADQUARTER STORES. I WILL NEVER HIRE HOME DEPOT AGAIN FOR INSTALLATION SERVICES. THERE ARE MUCH MORE WORTHY COMPANIES OUT THERE.
Description of Work: BATHROOM CERAMIC TILE INSTALLATION, APPROX. 45 SQ FT. REMOVE AND RESET TOILET.
