+ -1 more.I drove the Bronco to Hobbs and the wife followed me to take me back home so we could make another round trip to take the pickup to Hobbs. That wasn't necessary because Phillip Hobbs offered to ride back to our house with us and drive the pickup back to the shop saving us the roundtrip. This is typical of their great service.
Description of Work: I brought two vehicles to Hobbs Auto Repair yesterday morning. One vehicle had an electrical problem and the other vehicle had a brake problem. Both vehicles were repaired by 3:00 pm. The 96 Bronco required an alternator and the Chevy pickup required rear brake replacement.

+ 0 moreMy experience with this service provider has been excellent. They are courteous to a fault and go out of their way to explain in detail what they need to do and why.
Description of Work: The heater core in my 96 Bronco was leaking and had to be replaced. I checked the prices online for a heater core and decided the job was not a do it yourself chore for me. David Hobbs replaced the heater core and returned the Bronco to me the same day. I looked at the bill and the price he charged me for the heater core was within 20 cents of the prices I saw online. Labor was quite reasonable. The next day I took the wife's Taurus in for a/c work. Again it was repaired promptly at a reasonable cost. They also will pick up your vehicle and return it to you at no charge if you are within a few miles of his location. They are closed on weekends but open M-F at 07:00.

+ -1 moreThey are very friendly, courteous, and honest. They do not try to pressure you to do repairs that are not needed, but do advise you if they see something that may be necessary. I dropped my car off on a weekend when they were closed, and all repairs were completed by Monday afternoon. They are willing to answer any questions that you may have.
Description of Work: Changed timing belt on my 2005 Hyundai, also changed the tensioner pulley, drive belts, hoses, and water pump.

+ -1 moreThe last two times I took that car in, they tested it and road tested and told me there was nothing wrong with my car and I just needed to add fuel injector cleaner. Less than a month ago, my car wouldn't start, he told me that the starter they put in in Aug of '09 was faulty and replaced it with no charge. He is so honest. I would go no where else, but to him.
