HIGH-TECH APPLIANCE

This company was called to repair our 2 year old Frigidaire oven. Heard a loud pop and then the oven no longer work. They came out and diagnosed the problem as something wrong in the electrical/computer panel and had to order the part. After many days and many unreturned phone calls, we were told the part would be on back order for several weeks. Once the part did arrive they didn't check to be sure it was complete. The part was the display panel where you turn the oven to bake, broil, set temperatures etc., but the template showing each buttons function wasn't in the package. They installed the part so we could use the oven (guessing at the button functions) and finally about 2 weeks later they got the template and installed it. The entire process took close to 8 weeks, and the company was very had to reach. You had to call and leave a message, then they were to call you back within 24 hours, this didn't usually happen. On the last visit to the house, the technician was so rude (probably aggravated by his 3rd service call) and didn't even say anything before he left our house. I would not recommend this service company unless you don't like to be kept in the loop about the status of your repair and you have plenty of time to wait for your repair to be completed.

JOEY ARRIVED ON TIME (LATE WITHIN THE WINDOW, BUT STILL WITHIN THE TIME FRAME) AND AFTER REVIEWING THE MACHINE, SAID IT WAS BADLY DAMAGED AND MIGHT TAKE $3-400 TO REPAIR. APPARENTLY WHEN HE REPORTED BACK TO HIGH-TECH, THEY TOLD OUR WARRANTY COMPANY WE HAD OVERFILLED THE MACHINE, CAUSING IT TO BREAK. HE NEVER CONFRONTED US WITH THIS, WHICH WE WOULD HAVE DENIED BECAUSE WE DON'T OVERLOAD THE MACHINE. HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN UP-FRONT WITH US IF HE FELT THIS WAS AN ISSUE.
