Great company, highly recommend!

Matt and his team did a fantastic job installing my bathroom floor and light fixture. I initially hired Hickory Remodeling & Construction to reinstall my toilet, install a new garbage disposal, and repair my back door. They did such a great job, I wanted them to complete more work. I’m looking forward to Matt and his team to funds my bathroom by installing a new shower door, repairing my bathtub, and painting my entire bathroom. Rating in “Stars” is hardly appreciative enough. Hickory “knocked it out of the park” regarding service and quality. All owing to the owner, Matt Salam and his professional work ethics. He deserves a “Moon” rating!! I was in Commercial Real Estate 43 years, so I know from where I speak. One of the keys to success is having a specialist in each field required for the job. This is what Matt does. I had a tub to shower conversion. That endeavor received four (4) specialists, plus the Owner of Hickory, Matt; who is not a salesman, but an architect and designer, which turns out to be extremely helpful. Everyday I was continually amazed at Matt. I am 76 and in all my professional career, I have worked with many contractors. Never had one show up “every day”, until Hickory ‘s owner, Matt Salam. Matt on many days was here all day to “watch” and be sure of “perfection.” Anybody will most definitely benefit from his attitude of “ must be right”. I could go into detail regarding my project, but instead I will give Matt permission to give out my number to any very serious customer who would like to call me for an in depth reference.

I really like Hickory Remodeling. Matt and his team came in and did a great job installing two new doors in my condo. They also color matched the walls and made sure it was a flawless finish. Really appreciate the attention to detail. Would definitely recommend.

Matt has a wonderful eye for interior design and they offer all types and colors of premium tile, granite, marble, carpet, wooden flooring, etc. with samples in the showroom. Hickory Remodeling was always on time, professional, and left the construction site clean. Every task at hand was done well and I will definitely use them again. I highly recommend Hickory Remodeling for any extensive renovation!

Once we decided to do business with Hickory, Matt was professional in providing accurate timelines and budgeting in writing. I highly recommend Hickory Remodeling and Construction. Unlike previous contractors who find the shortest and easiest way to finish the project without regards to the long term consequences of future maintenance, Matt’s focus is in the long-term efficiency of any installation or project for our satisfaction and enjoyment of the product installed. This is the second time I had him work on a home project and found him being very consistent in his attention to details. The plumbing and electrical project we had was very tricky and complicated since our townhome is more than 50 years old. With many “patchwork” repairs done by previous owners/contractors, adding new wiring was not as straightforward. Yet, Matt and his team were able to save us the cost of adding a subpanel box after they took the time to assess all the existing wiring. Matt not only works to understand the purpose of the job requested but also takes into account the visual aesthetics involved in the project. He has outstanding expertise in planning and preparing for the project such that there is excellence in the completion of the project. He takes the time to evaluate and understand the current condition of the house and explains the process in detail to get to the end-result that is expected upon completion. He was very judicious in informing me of any issues during the project and was well prepared to provide viable options that make the end-result better. I also appreciate his high respect for the homeowner’s property which he makes sure is also practiced by the workers he send to do the job all throughout the process and not just during the time of quote or price negotiation or just at the start of the project when the homeowner is around. He takes pride in the integrity of his and his teams’ work. I will definitely hire him again for any future home projects.

It was very good, Mat was always there when you need him, he was one of the very few people that came through with everything, on time and very dependable. I called several other and asked for quotes and it's either they didn't come or charge too much so I was very thankful Mat went out. he always go out of his way to work with you, he's just very nice people and willing to work with you, he's just an awesome all around.

They were good and good price.It was perfect and we called them again . They were on time and they finished fast.
