It took some time and a few rounds of phone tag to reach Scott, but once I did things went very smoothly. He gave a quick and thorough estimate for the exterior repairs and paint work we needed, and was at the house that very weekend to start work. His crews did a great job and cleaned up very well after themselves. We did have one small problem with one of the workers forgetting to clear their lunch trash from our porch, but when I mentioned it to Scott he had someone out immediately to clean it up. All in all a good experience. We will use again.

We needed a handyman to complete some small jobs on our house to get it ready to sell. Scott was the only contractor that returned my call for our small job. We had the following work completed on our house: Repair stairs where our dogs has chewed, install quarter round in our bedroom and closet (we has installed laminate floor ourselves but never really finished the trim work), replace door molding and paint (where dogs had damaged), replace a broken floor tile, paint a HUGE wall and paint and patch two vaulted ceilings. Carpentry - Scott's carpenter was wonderful. The quarter-round looks flawless. You'd never know the stairs were damaged. The door molding is great. Tile - Scott's tile guy was also wonderful. He replaced the tile fine and was very clean. Through no fault of his own, the grout on the tile began to chip away within the day (due to the original builder's poor installation and the surrounding tile also needing replaced). He came back out a couple days later and mixed a special silicone grout and the tile is good as new. Paint - Scott's painting crew did a great job too. The wall (about 50ft long w/high ceilings) looks good as new with the color matched paint. The ceiling patchwork is flawless. My only criticism is there are a few bits of ceiling paint splatter that is on the walls and a few smudges of paint on a coffee table and drapes. My husband was present during this job and didn't notice. Of course, my eye is drawn to this immediately upon arriving home. Long story short, all of Scott's crew members were very clean, timely, and very skilled. We are looking at a kitchen remodel at our new house and plan on calling in Scott.

It took a few days for Scott and his crew to come and work on my job due to his availability, but the delay was understandable and acceptable by me. They came out and replaced the wood (the work done on the rotten wood replacement was excellent - it looks as if nothing was ever done to the wood when compared to the rest of the house), caulked the bathroom shower/tub problems and shaved the bathroom door so that it closed again (yay!). The caulking was done on the replaced wood, but it started raining so the priming and painting of the wood was rescheduled for the next day. The painter showed up the next morning and primed and painted the wood that was replaced in about an hour's time. It looks great. In fact, he had to match the paint to the existing colors (there were 2 different colors) and the matching came out great. Everything was done to my extreme satisfaction. There was even a slight "hiccup" with the job on my part. I misunderstood the entirety of the rotton wood that was to be replaced, and Scott had his wood worker replace 2 additional planks on my garage that I didn't ask him to do in the original discussion of what work was to be done. This additional wood was replaced the next morning when the painter came out to finish the painting. I was both pleased and relieved. I have hired Scott for a couple of other jobs in the past, and he has always done high quality work at a very reasonable price. I plan to use him again and again - for those pesky miscellaneous jobs that always pop up in a 1920's house.

Once contacted, Scott immediately came over to give me an estimate for replacing rotten wood on the exterior of my home and in addition to sand and caulk layers of paint on this 60 year plus home. The wood contractors were excellent, very meticulous and cleaned up well every day and upon completion. Amazing the freezing temperatures did not keep them from working on my house. Upon completion, I decided to get a "full paint" estimate versus a "partial paint". Scott gave me a price and upon my approval the painters were there the next day. I was very impressed with the work they performed on my house. They went over and above to do a "first class" job. I have painted the house in years past but it doesn't compare with this particular job. I felt that the price was fair and Scott was very trustworthy and professional. Whenever the crew needed him, he was there within the hour. All parties were interested and willing to perform the work to my satisfaction. I would be comfortable hiring Scott again and recommending him to others.

They came out the very same day to provide me with an estimate for both jobs. I was pleased with the professionalism and promptness. They came out the very next day to do the job. They were done with both jobs in a very reasonable time. The quality of service was excellent. I love the work they did on my bedroom door and putting in the doggy door. I would recommend them anytime.

My wife and I were very impressed with Scott all around. He was punctual, fair, and did great work. All his guys were very, very respectful of being within our house and we appreciated their awareness. Scott would always call me the night before to give us the update on when he would be attending the next day and also give us the summary of work for the day. In the morning Scott would call again to confirm what time him and the guys would arrive to start work. I was impressed with his level of keeping us in the loop on all progress. Most of the work was carried out while my wife and I were at work and we had no worries. At the end of each day everything was swept up, picked up, and well cleaned. All around a trustworthy and ethical guy along with his workers. Couldn't be happier with the work! We plan on using Scott going forward for the rest of the work around the house as jobs come up. I would recommend him to anyone. In addition I don't know why he calls himself a Handyman, he does everything!

Great experience. Scott came and gave me dates and an estimate. His workers were reliable and did first rate job fixing drawers, matching paint, and odds and ends. Scott works with the same crew and so it felt comfortable to know that he knows his workers and that one can trust them. I would call him again in a heart-beat. Also nice that he addressed small issues and even made some recommendations for additional small things. Overall, I am very pleased.

My old water heater sprang a leak on a weekend. I contacted Scott early Saturday morning to see he was able to help me. He came over to inspect the problem within a few hours and provided a cost for the work. On Monday, he was able to deliver and install a new water heater. On top of that, he helped me find a good deal on the water heater. I purchased all items required and he delivered it to my home. He talked me through each step, he did not change the price he quoted, and he was a pleasure to work with.

He answered the phone when I called came the same night to look at the job. Gave a good price for going the job. He gave me a date and time on when he could preform the job. Showed up on time did the job. Great to work with. Thanks again Scott.

Heights Handyman is just a guy with his son. So it's just the two guys, him and his son. They're very friendly and sociable. They live in the neighborhood. That's kind of why I picked them. He said that he's done a lot of fences and that he does them all the time. He was very [00:04:03] and responded to text and phone calls.
