Hawx Pest Control

Underwhelmed. Product does not seem super great. Have had to request multiple ant treatments Have had a hard time getting them to follow through on some of the services they offered. Such as de-webbing and removing wasp nest, and replacing traps once full. They do offer online scheduling and as many appmnts as you want. However, I am finding myself having to schedule an appmnt once or twice a month. They had promised that I would not have to worry about pest control again. They have NOT been able to deliver on that promise. I've regretted switching services.

I'll save you the diatribe, and Hawx has offices around the country that I am sure provide good service, but my review is for the south Houston operation. Uncaring, incompetent and negligent, AND trying to depend on technology for servicing, appointments and follow up with a centralized call center. Doesn't work at all. They only communicate when they want money for deplorable service or no or incomplete service. Just stay away - there are so many better outfits than these troglodytes.

Hawk pest control is a hoax, they aren’t a good company to rely on and get any kind of services from them, irresponsible behavior, irresponsibility employees, don’t give them your credit card, I had a very bad experience. If you pay once they’ll sign you up for 12 months. They are very convincing liars.

Terrible service. They give no advance notice of when they will be at your home and just expect you to be there. And when you are working and not at home they don't follow up to reschedule. I was told there were rats in the attic. After spending a large amount to remove them not one rat was trapped. I kept trying to schedule follow-ups and never got a response. After being frustrated with the lack of communication I asked to cancel my account. This was taken care of immediately and I was charged a $200 cancellation fee despite the fact that they did not finish the service.

Fraudulent and unscrupulous business that will NOT inform the customer they are under a contract, thereby taking YOUR money without your knowledge. Did not take notes or records of ending services after numerous attempts. Continues to harass you over late fees, THE DAY AFTER LOSING A FAMILY MEMBER TO CANCER. They are more vile and disgusting than the insects they are paid to take care of.

WARNING! Hawx Pest Control is a scam! I was called by one of the "Salesman" from the North Houston Location (1408 N Sam Houston Pkwy E Suite 180, Houston, TX 77032) to ask if I would like a treatment. I was out of town in Dallas (I live in Houston) in training and I approved the treatment at $71.00. The agreement was for 4 treatments per year at $71.00. Well 9-5 I get a receipt that I was charged an additional $71.00 for a "Membership". I was also told that I signed a contract for service and there would be a $200.00 early termination fee. Which of course was impossible as I was 300 miles north of Houston. The young lady I talked to said the contract had a dash in the signature box (well I guess the sales guy did that) and she was going to have the manager look at it and she would get back with me. Needless to say I never got a call back. Today 9-6, I called back to check on the status, She's in a meeting and will call you back. (I'll update with the results, but I'm betting I'm going to dispute this with the credit card company) Bottom line, I was never told about a subscription / membership fee and/or any discussion on a contract. If they are charging $71.00 a month for 4 times a year spraying that comes out to $284.00 per application. Not to mention an "Early termination fee". Does this sound reasonable? Not to me. If I was told any of this I would have hung up the phone. POTENTIAL BUYERS BEWARE! Follow up: The management decided that a dashed line on the contract made it valid. I have included the contract to show everyone that I NEVER signed it. I have also included the charges.

I had to give one star because zero is not an option. I did not use their service, nor will I due to the extremely aggressive sales guy who came to my door. My house was not the only one on our street with a “no soliciting” sign that was ignored.

Year long contract that doesn't cancel once complete. They continue to charge you until you tell them to stop. Which of course, is after you notice you were charged another $45. Horrible scheduling and follow through. Tech was not dispatched with the correct instructions, Customer service was excessively poor and they charged me $600 for an extra service that they didn't even complete!

Please please do not give these scammers your money!!!!! Hawx pest control has tech going door to door telling folks lies to get them to switch to their service. I told tech I was already in a contract with Anthem pest control whom I was very happy with. He told me we will beat the prices give you more for your money and we will call cancel your plan and pay any fees associated with leaving contract. They came out 2 days later I paid for the service then a week later Anthem shows up to service me. I call hawx and ask why they haven’t contacted anthem to cancel contract only to be told they don’t do that!!!! I’m explain so now I’m in contract with 2 pest control companies which doesn’t make sense. They basically said my word against his and there is nothing they can do it’s only been 10 days and that if I cancel I will be charged $500!! I immediately cancelled and while still on the phone they tried to run my cc for the amount!!! They are scammers UNPROFESSIONAL CROOKS! This was in July so far they have ran my card over 20x they were running it every other day. This has now turned to harrassment. They just tried running it again this am. Thank god I have cancelled card and not activating new one. Even tho I cancelled old card they are still actively running my new card!!! It will NEVER be activated DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS!!!!! Beware!!!!!! Use any other pest service other than them. Please!!!

They offered a service that can’t provide. They offered getting into the attic but later said they couldn’t. We canceled the service and we were charged a cancelation fee. Unacceptable!

BUYER BEWARE!!! HAWX Services cares nothing about their customers and only about getting you to sign their contract! About five weeks ago, a HAWX sales representative knocked on my door asking for a "minute" of my time. I already had service with a different pest control company but even after I explained that to him he was very persistent that I switch over and give HAWX my business. He immediately offered to rectify the situation by personally calling my current pest control provider to cancel my contract. If a fee was charged for cancellation, it would be taken care of as long as it was reasonable and this, he assured me. Foolishly I took his word on it and signed their contract, with only myself to blame now. Just a month later, I realized my current service had never been cancelled and I've been paying for two pest control companies. I called the company that should have been cancelled by HAWX and they informed me that it would cost $200 to cancel my contract with them. Now that I have notified HAWX of my situation they have refused to take any responsibility for promises made by their sales rep. Finally today, an account supervisor returned my call and explained that in some cases a sales rep can agree to cancel current policies for customer's and that if they decide to pay a resulting fee, it is their choice to do so. But unless I have a recorded conversation proving it happened or unless the rep notated my account with the information, it was my word against his word. When I simply asked to cancel my service with them he quickly let me know that I would be charged $226 for ending my contract. Take my advice and DO NOT trust anything a sales rep from this company promises you and only trust the black and white words printed on their contract agreement. I am shocked that HAWX has taken no accountability in this situation. For $226 this company needs to be exposed for what they really are. $$$ Fraudulent and Irresponsible

Do not use this company they will charge you and then never provide services. then when you call to cancel they charge you a cancellation fee mid conversation before working things out on the call. then when you try and reinstate to not get charged they tell you they can’t do that until they do service you. I guess that’s one way over covering their butts. Meanwhile my service is cancelled and I have a $216 cancellation fee. TOTAL FRAUD

They did a good job and they did what they promised to do.

I love the service. They were very professional. They let me know when they were coming. I really enjoyed the service.

Fantastic. The tech was very professional
