Butch called and told me he would be at my house in 20 minutes. In 20 minutes he was at the front door. I had my list of things I needed him to do and I walked around the house showing him everything on my list. He started right in with the toilets which didn't need new parts they just needed adjusting. Then he moved along to the next thing on the list. He did this until everything was completed. He was very quiet, knew what he was doing, and cleaned up everything. It didn't take him very long to complete everything on the list. I am pleased with everything he did. I didn't know Handyman Matters is a franchise. I didn't see this on Angie's List when I was looking for a handyman. I would not use them again just because they are a franchise and I feel I was probably charge more. Once again the work was great.

It went fairly well. This was a 1940's River Oaks Home so there were plenty of surprises underneath the studs. Despite all the many complications, Harry stood by his contract and completed the extensive remodel work on budget with no cost surprises. We appreciated that very much. Harry is very fair and has good business practices. And our Kitchen and Family room look beautiful.

We have been extremely happy with the quality of Harry's team's work and follow up service. His carpenter is top-notch and was able to build in custom shelving in our closet and a custom desk in our office after a quick brainstorming session. The electrical and plumbing work were average, some things that needed to be fixed in the months and years after move in. Harry's crew is always professional and trustworthy. In particular I am impressed with how Harry stands behind his work. Even when issues were discovered well beyond the official warranty period, if it was clearly a problem with the original construction, Harry would always send his team out to take care of the repair. He has also been willing to share referrals with us for independent jobs. For repair issues and minor jobs it tends to take a bit longer to get a response from the company. Otherwise, overall great job!

The overall experience was excellent. We are very glad we choose Harry James for this job. There were numerous meetings with Harry James at each stage of the remodeling. The result is a home we are very proud of.

They had great attention to detail. The architecturally style fit the area well. They are very responsive to any issues that might come up.
