Gutters by Berger Home Services

Josh Berger came out as promised and wrote the estimate using three grades (sizes) of gutters. We went with the best system that also carries a 25 year warranty. The work started the following Monday and concluded the next day. The two-man crew went straight to work and installed the gutters, downspouts, and rain-chain cutout according to the plan. The downspouts are especially good because we have a lot of stone on the front of the house and they managed to follow the contours so well, the downspouts are hardly noticeable. We are so pleased with the results! I have already given referrals to friends.

They were very professional and did a great job. I was very pleased with their work and they pleasant to work. I would recommend their services to anyone wanting fantastic work done. I've used them twice now and have been extremely satisfied both times.

They showed up when they were supposed to for the estimate and gave me a bid. Once I accepted they scheduled the install, and the crew showed up and installed just like they said. They have 8 or 10 standard colors of gutters and they were able to match the front of the house pretty closely. I can't speak how good/bad the price was, but they did a good job and that's what I was concerned about. I'm considering adding the gutter guards that they quoted and if I do that I will use them again.

After getting bids from many companies I decided Berger Home Services best suited my needs. Met with David Berger on 2/22/16 and he gave me a comfortable bid on expected work. The color of the new gutters were initially a hangup but was soon rectified. Mr. Berger made an appointment for 3/8/16 and they were installed that day. The workers arrived on time and even worked in the rain to complete the job. I got to see the new gutters in action and they worked great. The screens they put in drained good. And this was a hard rain that fell too.

Arrived on time, did excellent work. I would recommend to others and would use them again. Family owned and operated which I think makes a difference.

The salesman (Vernon) was very nice, courteous, professional, and responsive, as were the office folks that I spoke with (Alexandria, Josh). The work was completed as scheduled and the waste was hauled off as promised. The quality and the actual installation of the gutters is top notch - my wife and I are very pleased with the finished product, and equally pleased with our experience with Berger Home Services.

They did a great job. They were professional and finished the job quickly. However, my 87 year old mom is having surgery the week of 2/8/2016 and I am having a lift installed. I needed a plan on how to proceed with the gutter as the gutter will either need to be removed or cut around the lift. I wanted to be sure we were doing the right thing considering the cost of the gutters that were installed. I called on 1/15/2016 and was told that someone would come out on Monday 1/18/2016, and would call before arriving because they couldn't give me a specific time. That was terrific. I waited all day Monday at the house and no one called or came by. I called a few times since and twice today. I was told Brent would call me back. By 5pm today I was still waiting for a call. I called Berger back because I have installers from 101 mobility waiting to hear from me today on how to proceed with the lift ,and when the gutter installers will take a look. When I called back I was explaing the situation again, and the girl that answers the phone hung up on me. Extremely unhappy with this company. She was unprofessional and really didn't care about my situation. All I needed was a date someone could come out and tell me how to proceed.

Not sure I'd use them again. I was expecting them to make it so my gutters would drain correctly (slightly bent in middle), however they did not do that, so water backs up and gets stuck. Also, they didn't fix leak correctly, but they did come back and do it again after a phone call, I believe.

Estimator came on a Wednesday offered services for the following week and provided a reasonable price and did not push for additional options and gave a great explanation why. On Thursday i received a phone call asking me if i would like to fill an opening for Friday, which i excepted. Workers came at 10ish finish around 1, did an excellent job, picked up all there trash and explain what they had done.

Great. Quick, easy, no mess or bother. Look great!

This is the second time I used this company, first time great results. The second time not so great. They used water to clean out the gutters which resulted in blow out of all sorts of gutter detritus onto the side of the house and on top of the AC units. I had to get up on a ladder and clean up their mess. Not happy about this. Also I called them the next day left a voice mail expressing my dissatisfaction about their work and I have heard nothing back from them and this has been 5 days ago. Not sure if I will use them ago.

I selected Berger Home Services using Angies List, and they did a really super job. The estimate process went very smoothly, and they completed the job on the scheduled date. Quality of materials and installation work was excellent. I wasn't sure if the color would match the house, and it was a perfect match. I arrived home after dark, but I knew the new gutters were there when I could see their shine in the headlights! It has rained a few times since then and the gutters and gutter guards work great!

They did a fine job. It has been a while since it had been done. I'd give them a very good grade. We ended up paying extra because of the linear footage. It was probably a hundred dollars more. We weren't really happy about that. Like I said, it was fair given what they had advertised. I think the marketing model on how much people would normally have with the linear footage for the gutters was probably based on a very small house. I think they could be a little more realistic on that.

I called one week ago to set up appointment for today in the afternoon. Lady taking information said I would receive a call from the estimator on Friday morning with "window" for his arrival. I never heard from anyone in the morning, so at 1:15 I called Berger and the lady said she would try to find the estimator. She said that she would call me right back. I still did not hear from anyone, so at 4:15 I called again and the gentleman I talked to said they hadn't heard from the estimator and couldn't get hold of him. I told him I got the same story at 1:15 pm. This is totally unprofessional! I had an Angie's List plumber and window replacement guy both out this afternoon and they showed up on time and finished in a timely fashion. I expect 3 out of 3 from Angie's List! That is why I joined and only use your service providers from Angie's List!

I requested an estimate for gutter repairs. They sent out a representative to review the work. They said they emailed me an estimate but it was never received. I asked them to go ahead without an estimate anyway. I called Brent and agreed on a date and time. He never showed up and didn't call either. I canceled the order.

They were able to closely match the previous color of the gutters and the gutters themselves still look nice over a year later now. I can't recall much about the company, but I remember Mr. David Berger was really nice to work with.

After reading all the good reviews I sent my contact info to them and told them I was interested in getting a quote for new gutters. I was contacted the next day and they said that I did not need to be home that they could come by and do all the measurements and provide a quote for me. They did the quote and left the paperwork at my home for me when I got home. I called the next day and left a message and they called me back the next day or so and we scheduled the work. I was impressed how quickly and easily they made the process for me. Did not have to take off any time from work to get this done. There was someone at the house when they did the work but that was not necessary. The installers were very professional and went the extra mile. The Gutters look great! I mean really Great! I got the rhino guard as well. So all in all I would recommend them to anyone looking to get gutters. Job Well Done!

Purchased the deal for roof cleaning and gutter cleaning. Did a good job and cleaned up afterwards.

The finished product is terrific. The materials, fit, and finish are much better than the gutters which originally came with the house. The team arrived on time, completed everything in a timely manner (despite a thunderstorm in the middle of the job), and cleaned up before leaving. Several neighbors commented on the the quality of the work. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
