the work seemed good, only took about an hour, but the person sent to my home showed me evidence that my vents were installed incorrectly. when I realized that my roof is under warranty, I asked for a copy of the picture and called Berger and never got it. I reached out to them several times but did not receive it. I asked if a sub contractor was used and they said he was a permanent sub.

I purchased the Daily Deal from Angie's List for gutter cleaning and knew I would have additional square footage. I paid a total of $250 (including the original $99 deal offer). I was contacted within a day or two and told David would be by to inspect the home and measure the gutter square footage. He was very polite and professional. He told me there was a backlog of business because of the extreme rain we'd been having but that they would be by within a week or two. I told him I wanted to be notified the day before services would be performed (or at least on the morning of) so that I could be at home to ask the technician a few questions about concerns I had that could only be answered once someone had been up on a ladder to check my gutters. He said that would be fine. Unfortunately, I was not called and the technician came out and performed the cleaning without my prior knowledge. I contacted the office and notified them of the issue once I saw the report sheet on my front door. David returned my call and apologized for the confusion. He also said if any issues came up with the first major rain to let him know and they would come back out. He was very kind and, again, professional, I just wish my original request had been followed.

Took advantage of special almost a year ago to clean and repair gutters. Approximately 10 months later, the gutter that initially was loose came off again. Reported the loose gutter and Berger services came and made repair. They stood by their 12 warranty without hassle. In addition the work was done in a timely manner. Would recommend this company to anyone for their professionalism and integrity.

Gerber originally installed the rain gutters on my house and did a great job. Then I made changes to the exterior of my house that necessitated the change in the rain gutters. Berger took care of it in less time than it takes most companies to call you back. They brought out the color matched parts needed to change the way the gutters ran and made the adjustments. I wish all companies were a great as these guys.

Berger Home Services replied quickly to our inquiry, and sent a professional technician right away for the estimate. The estimate was fair and they set the appointment, kept it, and did a great job. We would definitely recommend this company.

Performed services on the date expected, with very little mess left behind anywhere. All gutters and downspouts are now flowing freely when it rains.

Mr. Berger and his team were a joy to work with. Their estimate came in $500 under gutter man and they were able to install within one week. I had one problem with a one gutter in the back of my home not being level and they came out and fixed it fast. I have not had any issues since. I definitely recommend them.

They arrived to give me an estimate the day after I called them. It was actually less than I had thought it would be. They removed the damaged portion of the gutters, and spliced new gutter in. They did excellent work, and everyone I dealt with was courteous.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I cannot rate them with enough Fs. So much went wrong, I fill bullets will more easily explain. 5 weeks measure to completiion. Rescheduled numerous times Subcontractors work is sub standard Left sharp debris and screws on my patio First installation was incorrect and took entirely to long to complete any repairs. Guy that came to measure did not listen to where I wanted the patio down spout placed, therefore on day of install, the downspout was put in the wrong spot, pointing in the wrong direction. I waited over a week after the measurement to hear back from the company to schedule the installation. 3 hours after they called to schedule, they called back to tell me they had to move me to a different day (should've been my first clue to back out). On the day of installation, the patio downspout was installed in the wrong location. I called them, and told them it needed to be changed and since it was only on the wrong side of a pillar, they could use some elbows to move the downspout to the side and not cut a new hole in the gutter for a downspout. I explained that if they had to cut a new hole, then they needed to replace the entire gutter as I didn't want a patch in my brand new gutters. They said they would call to schedule the repair. They called 2 days later to tell me that I was on the schedule for the next day. The next day I was called and told that they weren't coming and they would be there the following day. The following day the crew shows up and tells me that they don't have the right parts, they would need to reschedule. I called the owner and told him I wanted someone back out that afternoon to complete the job. I was not waiting any longer. I had taken the morning off to be there for them. I had to leave the gate unlocked for them to come back that afternoon. When I got home, I found that a patch was put in the gutter and a new hole was cut because the entire downspout had to be moved. I also found that they didn't fill the screw holes in the pillar where they had originally placed the downspout. There were pieces of scrap metal from cutting the new hole and screws lying loosely on my patio floor. I called the owner and told him that I wanted the gutter replaced, I didn't pay for patched gutters, I paid for brand new "seamless" gutters. I was told again I would be called to schedule. Three days later, I was called and told that the crew would be out the following day, then on the day of, I was called and told they couldn't make it and would be out the following day. Then called again on the day of and told that they couldn't make it, they would be out the following day. Finally they show up, while I'm at work, complete the job correctly, well almost, where the downspout connects to the gutter, the downspout is crooked and isn't flush so sticks out past the gutter. I bent it into place, I can't imagine what it would take to get them back out here. Finally the job is done, I don't here from them for over a week. No invoice had come, no phone call to see how things went, NOTHING. Then out of the blue, i get an email with an invoice. An incorrect invoice, see my total footage was 146 feet. The Angies list deal I purchased was 100 feet (which included any footage needed for downspouts) for $495 and each additional foot is $5. The invoice I get is for a balance of $235. They were saying that $146 ft at $5 is $730, and I had only paid $495, leaving a $235 balance. That math almost makes sense, except for the fact that the Angie's list deal is for 100 feet. So the 46ft that I still need to pay for adds up to $230 (46x$5), not $235. They wrote the deal on Angie's list and then tried to bill as if the $495 only covered 95 feet. I can't imagine how many people have overpaid. I asked for a corrected invoice explaining the mistake, and also asked for an inconvenience discount, (the inconvenience was because it took 5 weeks from measure to completion). I received an email back insisting that the math was correct (from the owner), and was offered a $100 discount for my troubles. I thought that the discount was fitting for the situation and wrote back again trying to better explain the error and that I would be mailing a check, I wasn't about to give these people my credit card number over the phone, I can only imagine the mistakes and delays it would take to get it right. I explained that my check would be for $130 not $135. This was 5 days ago (at the time of this review), haven't heard a peep back. I have since mailed my "final payment" as stated on the check. PLEASE for your own personal sanity and to have quality work done in your home, do NOT use Berger Home Services.

The reason I'm giving average marks is that I picked a date when I would be home. However, they came on a day I was at work so I really don't know for sure if the work was done. I had issues I wanted to discuss and never got a chance to do so. I have a gecko issue around my front door and I called after I found out they supposedly were here and was told there was no gecko "nest" or whatever you would call it around the front door gutters and downspouts. Well, they're still here in full force, so I'm not sure I can trust this company again.

David was on time for the review of what was needed and gace recommendation on what could be done to fix improperly installed gutters from a years back. His team arrived on time, completely the work quickly and cleaned up after themselves, they were a good crew.

It went well. It was a bit tricky to set up the visits as they seemed pretty busy, but the quality of work and customer service was great. My roof and gutters were cleaned with very little debris left in the yard. They even left a quote to replace my current gutters and it was very comparable to other quotes I had gotten. I will take them into consideration for when I replace my gutters next year.

I needed additional gutters as the sides and upper level of the back of my house were not included when the house was built. This led to having poor drainage along the sides of my house and has been a messy nuisance. Berger Home Services came out and estimated the job & a week later they installed 270 ft of new gutters. Really pleased with the service and the quality of work.

The start was a little confusing. I had bought a deal of USD 149 for cleaning the gutters. First they came to make an estimate. They scheduled the visit to make the estimate and left a quote confirming the package I had already paid for covered all the length of the gutters in my house and the quote also included the offering of additional services. Then I had to call them again to schedule the actual cleaning. It was a lot of back and forth to execute a service I had already paid for. I wish they had executed the service I had already paid for first and then left an offering for additional services, not the other way around. The actual execution of the service went very well and I people we dealt with was very cordial and professional.

Did a fantastic job. The worker was polite, professional and did beautiful work. Cleaned out all of the gutters and cleaned up all debris afterward. Will definitely use them in the future.

They showed up at the arranged time to provide the estimate which I greatly appreciated and provided a reasonable bid for the requested work. They called the day before the install was to occur to let me know when they would be coming, but they also stated that i would not need to be on site for the work. Three workers came out to clean and add the gutters at the agreed time and did the work very quickly. The work was done very quickly and the work site was clean after their visit. I then received an email with the invoice with options for arranging payment. In today's world, I am not used to having people do what they say so I feel compelled to

They did a terrific job! We bought the Angie's List special deal of $495 for 100 feet of new gutters. Josh Berger was very prompt, coming out to our house within a couple of days of when we purchased the deal to review the job and confirm the estimate for the work. The total footage for what we needed done was slightly more than 100, so the additional bill was $99 for a total of $594. He inspected an area where we were having some problems with heavy rains spilling out over the tops of the gutter and confirmed that the gutters were fine, the slope was good, but there was some debris in the gutters, and the crappy screens that had been installed weren't working and were probably contributing to the overflow. He offered to remove the screens and clean the gutters for free. The installers came out about five days later and did the work. They were very quick and efficient, and had the whole thing done in about an hour, or maybe 90 minutes. The work looked great, and when we got those heavy rains over the next few days, the gutters worked great (and no overflow anymore in the old gutters.) All in all, we were very happy with the work, and felt like the price was very reasonable. We would definitely used them again if we ever moved or bought a new house, and we would definitely recommend them.

Despite having overall good recommendations on Angie's list, we found the professionalism of this company very much lacking. We got an estimate for inspecting, cleaning, and repairing/replacing the gutters on our home and garage. When we actually contracted them to perform the job they told us a date to expect them and my husband waited all day for them to arrive. When they finally did show up (without a call ) they arrived at 5:30pm in the evening to begin work, then realized they didn't have the correct materials needed to complete the job and they would need to come back a separate day. When they did come back several days later, they removed the older gutters from our garage and replaced them with gutters that were three inches smaller than the ones they removed. The workers left debris (metal clippings, mesh, etc.) all over our driveway and yard as well as they went into our garage used our power cords and left them in the driveway in the rain and unhinged our garage door. Three days into the job they finally finished and asked us to inspect. When we pointed out the clearly smaller gutters they replaced our older gutters with (which also had a clear paint line ending three inches below the end of the gutter) they seemed surprised? Then the owner told us they would replace the two gutters on the garage with larger gutters to match the ones they had taken down, but this would need to be scheduled at a later date. When they came back at a later date, they only replaced one of the two gutters on the garage with the correct size and we needed to re-contact them to come back (for the fifth time) to replace the other remaining gutter they had removed with the correct size. All in all, a very time-consuming and disappointing experience. This company lacked professionalism on every level and I would not recommend them or use them again in the future.
