Description of Work: I called Gilbert's Tree Service and Pedro was very prompt in calling back to set an appointment. He came out , on time and gave me a written bid. I called back to hire him. Pedro returned with a crew of three men and a big truck with a limb grinder. They trimmed three lage trees and cut back an over grown tree in my back yard in three hours. They cleaned up very well. We were so impressed ! Great job!

Job went off without a hitch.
Description of Work: Pedro and his crew trimmed a 100+ year old pine tree and several live oak trees and did an excellent job. Great value for the money spent and very careful and methodical service. Also gave knowledgeable advice regarding making trees hurricane ready. Thorough clean up and friendly service. Flexible when additional sercices were requested.

It didn't go at all.
Description of Work: I first obtained an estimate for tree service in June 2008 & Pedro returned my call. He showed up on time & gave me a fair price for the work needed. I was unable to schedule the work due to my schedule. Then Ike came along. I called Pedro the week of November 10 & he had the audacity to ask me to call & remind him Friday afternoon to confirm appointment on Saturday, Nov. 15th at 8:00 am. I did not agree to this & he said he would call & confirm on Friday afternoon. Well, you guessed the end of this story. Pedro did not call on Friday afternoon & he did not show up on Saturday at 8:00 am. It just makes you wonder what their interpretation of professionalism is?
