+ -1 moreWhen my contract was up, they slammed me into a new unpublished monthly rate that was more than twice the prevailing rate. I thought that was totally unfair. I expected to simply be rolled over into another 12 month contract. Until this point, I had no issues/problems with them. As I now am researching Service Providers, I see that their rates are now middle of the pack, but they offer various promo's to entice people to switch to them. These promos are chicken feed compared to the gains they make from the higher rates. The $3K noted above is the amt I paid GEXA in the prior year for electricity. Their slamming me into the high monthly rate cost me $150 extra for that month. (Lucky for me it was FEB, not AUG or that difference would be over $500.) There is no reason for me to go back to them. There are better options.
