I purchased an open box refrigerator from this store, however upon delivery it was discovered that the delivery company had damaged the power cord and had done so to three other deliveries that day. They decided to not deliver the item and return it to the store to send out for delivery but they would not tell me exactly what was going on in terms of time etc and could not get anyone to call me back. I ended up having to go and sit in their store for 4.5 hours just to get a straight answer and when I asked to speak with the General Manager I was told that he had "just left". I currently have no refrigerator and I have not been able to get anyone to call me back after calling repeatedly for over a week.. It is a long and complicated issue, but I have been treated TERRIBLY by this store, not to mention their "shady" business practices. They have repeatedly attempted to refund my money without my authorization rather than deal with the issue - I do not want my money back, I want my refrigerator! Avoid this store location at all costs. Highly unethical managers.

I use Best Buy all the time. I've bought a lot of things from them. If I need any type of electronics stuff, I usually go there. They also fixed my computer awhile ago. Usually, the tech people they send to the house are really good. Some techs are better than others. Most of them are really good. They know what they're doing. I like them because if something goes wrong, I know I can call Best Buy. I've never had a problem with them. They always do pretty good. I haven't had anything major. It's usually something pretty simple. They've installed routers for me and different things like that. I don't know how to do any of that. I just call them. I really like the salespeople in the store. They're really nice. I don't know all these gifts my grandchildren want, and the salespeople always steer me in the right direction. Also, they don't always try to get you to buy the most expensive thing, which is good.
Description of Work: I purchased a new computer there and they came to my home and installed it.

I was attempting to buy a software program for a XMAS present for my granddaugher. She just got a new camera and is getting interested in editing the programs on the computer. But her computer is a MAC, something different from mine. I am really new to computing and really don't understand these differences. At Best Buy, I realized that I needed help and finally found a Best Buy floor person. But he directed me to the customer service since he didn't think that the computer programs on the sales floor would run on my granddaughers PC. When I went to customer service, and told them what I needed, the person there showed me a program, Adobe Lightroom 4 Student and Teacher. The name bothered me, since it implied that there was something special about the program and that it might not be a normal software program. I really didn't know anything about the program and wanted to talk about the features and stuff. The customer representative person did not answer any of my questions and would not let go of the program. He insisted that he take it to the check out counter. Apparently, he did not know anything either and only said I needed to buy the program to find out anything. Upon reflection, I realize that he probably meant that I could not open the box to read the manual, but I wish that he had gotten me to someone who was knowledgeable enough to help me. I purchased the software anyway--I did not want to bother the cashier as I felt that she was just being polite. I left feeling used and really stupid for buying this package.

The guy that comes out is very intelligent, he really knows his work. The service is quick, and the computer is fixed in no time. I cannot remember how much he charged me last time he was here, but he reconnected the network and showed me how to properly use it. Geek Squad is always on schedule with our appointments. They call before coming and never cancel.

The Geek Squad came out to my home and repaired and serviced our wireless network. The work they performed was really good. They finished the job quite fast. We have had no further problems or issues with our network. We are pleased with the service provided and would hire them again.
