+ -1 moreBrian is great! He promptly answered or returned phone calls, showed up when promised, was an expert on refrigerator repair, and totally honest and fair on fees. I asked him to repair icemakers on two old refrigerators, a Kenmore from around 1995 or so, and a GE from 1980. They are both up and running fine now. The GE icemaker had not worked in 10 or 15 years. Both GE Applicance and Sears servicemen had checked with their office and told me that the GE parts were no longer available. Brian immediately recognized it and obtained the necessary part. He told me there was a 50-50 chance that other repairs would be necessary, and that he would come back for free two days later if there were no ice. He did return, spent over an hour replacing a water valve and cleaning the sides and floor exposed from pulling out the refrigerator. Everything is fine now, and he would not take more money. He also taught me how to control the water flow into the Kenmore icemaker because the buildup of ice cubes was slow. I would use Brian for any repair of any type that he does. The company was started by his father. Brian now runs things. He has another Houston employee who is recovering from a medical procedure. At one time, he had some workmen in Dallas as well, but it was too much trouble for all the driving back and forth to Dallas to resolve repair issues. Now he focuses just on Houston. He also does a lot of work as an independent contractor for Sears, and perhaps others.
Description of Work: Replaced icemakers on two refrigerators. Replaced water valve on back of one refrigerator.

+ -1 moreThese guys were super terrific, they were so good. It was a father and son who came by and he really knew what he was doing and the price is right. I will call them again, and they do washing machines and drier and other things and. It was excellent, actually I gave him a $100 but the charge was $92, it was very reasonable. I would suggest that my neighbors would use this guy or anybody.
Description of Work: I had used G and F Repair's services for my Whirlpool drier. They came on April 5th.

Description of Work: They came out fixed my oven which broke again about three weeks later. When it came time to honor my warranty they have yet to come out and fix it. It has been going on 8 weeks now I have made numerous calls and have even called to try and speak with the owner who has yet to call me back. I would not use them or recommend them to anyone.

+ -1 moreHonestly don't even know why these guys are in business. They seem to have little to no interest in actually doing any work. Total waste of time!!
Description of Work: We were trying to get our gas range repaired. 1st guy did show up but never got the top off the gas range but nevertheless announced it required a part and that he would order it an call us back. Heard nothing for a week and called several times. Finally got the manager (Brian). He said the order was 'lost' on his desk and that he would send someone else out. Of course, no one ever showed up so we called several more times (they never answer their phone). Finally got Brian again and he said he was looking for the part but thought it was no longer available. After this 3 week odyssey, we finally gave up.
