+ 7 moreThis was the most professional team that I have ever encountered. Each time they have done work in my home, they moved all of my furniture and valuables to safe areas. They covered all flooring and furniture so that nothing would be damaged or destroyed. Their staff arrived each day ON TIME and worked as late as I allowed. On a few occasions I have asked for projects to be completed within 1-days. They ensured that the job was complete and my house was ALWAYS clean afterwords. The most amazing action of all was they actually invoiced me for lower amounts that what was actually quoted on two occasions. I REALLY appreciate their honesty.
Description of Work: I first encountered G&K Contractors during Hurricane Ike. After my long term contractor failed to return my phone calls, I called G&K. The owners. came out to my home. They were extremely professional. I really appreciated the honesty of the owners. They told me exactly the repairs that I needed to make immediately and those that could wait. They volunteered to take all pictures for my insurance company and spoke with my adjuster throughout the entire process. My family room was totally destroyed. They basically ripped out all of the walls in the room and rebuilt the room. They installed carpet, lighting, green board Sheetrock, custom built a bar and installed a fire place. This was originally the worst room in the entire house, it is now our favorite. Since that time, they have installed a new fence, added custom molding in the dining areas and around my family room windows. They are absolutely fabulous. If you call anyone else, you are wasting your TIME.
