Waking up at 2:30 A.M. to a flooded kitchen, living room and hallway including part of my master bedroom was a devastating experience for this old man and by panicking I ended up calling a Company called Bionic who was the only company that answered by calls that early in the morning without going into details because of resolution with them in other forums and but suggest you do the research on them on yelp. Shout out to the entire Farmers of preferred vendors team, consisting of My Flooring of America and Furniture Medic by Giovani. Their finished products provided to me by all three including their on-site work was absolutely impeccable and my Farmers adjuster expertise and professionalism helped me when I thought everything was lost. As we come to an end of this disaster, I cannot thank this team enough and to go on the record they were absolutely great to work with. Very patient when I became emotional especially when getting hit by a Hurricane during this time. It was a hard time in my life, and I needed that kindness and support. I highly recommend that team to anyone who needs this type of service.

Charged us to perform services on pieces of furniture and they only performed service on one as we were not satisfied with their work and we had agreed that we wanted to see results before allowing them to work on all pieces of furniture. We agreed to pay $120 for restoration of one piece of furniture. When we tried to obtain a refund of the balance $258.88 they denied it. We immediately called credit card company and initiated a dispute. Don't give them your credit card information when making an appointment. They will charge it and if you are not satisfied with their work you will be battling for a refund. Total and complete thievery!!! They also told us that to get the results we wanted we would have to pay $700 for one piece of furniture, which does not include pick up and delivery charges.

I bought their coupon: $99 for $200 worth of repairs. As others have noted, it's pretty much impossible to get a piece of furniture repaired for $200, so the company could have avoided some misunderstandings and bad feelings if it had simply offered $99 off any repair over $200. Nonetheless, I felt the price they offered for my work was fair. It was not a bargain, but I was not looking for a bargain, just for a fair price for the quality of work performed. That is what I got. Note that the price I paid did not include the upholstery fabric, which I bought separately from another vendor. This carved oak rocking chair had damage from one of my dogs chewing on an arm and the rockers. The company repaired the damaged wood and refinished the entire piece. The wood repair was great -- even I can't tell where the chewing damage was. The upholstery work also looks great -- beautiful matching of the large medallion pattern. A couple of glitches to be aware of: pickup and delivery are quite expensive, so I decided to take the chair to the shop myself. Unfortunately, they are only open until 3 p.m. Mon-Fri. They can be available in the shop on some Saturday mornings by appointment, but that did not work for me. When I picked up the chair the first time, I noticed after it was loaded in my car that they had not refinished the bottom of the rockers. They immediately took back the chair and offered to finish it properly. The next day, I received a call telling me that the refinishing would be done the next business day, and offering to deliver the rocker to my home for free, to compensate me for the inconvenience. They delivered right on time. Also, they did not charge for the balance on the chair until the day of delivery, though I already had given them my credit card.

The chair looks good as new. The location is near 34th Street and Ella, so it is not conveniently located for everyone, but it was good for me. I contacted the shop and the response took a few days, but once we connected everything went smoothly. The repair took almost two weeks, which was expected. I am very pleased with how the chair looks and would use them again.

As I recall, the cost was $100 for $200 worth of furniture refinishing. This sounded perfect for the small area (roughly 8" square) on our dining table that needed refinishing. I sent photos of the area that needed work to Furniture Medic, hoping if it cost anything extra, it would be only another hundred or two. The table itself cost only $600. Well, the "estimate" came back $1,255. I could have saved $280 by hauling the table myself. For that price, I would just buy a new table. So I didn't use this service at all. In my opinion, the repair cost was excessive, making the coupon worthless to me.

I thought I was going to get staining on my bench done for $99 when, in fact, the company quoted me something like $800. Anyhow, bench is not worth $200 so I would be foolish to even think of spending such an enormous amount of money. I have never had a big deal that ended up costing more money than I paid for the big deal. I will be more careful in the future to understand wording of the deal.

Purchased $200 worth of furniture repair for $99. Thought that would cover at least half of the job...turns out I was quoted $1600 to refinish the piece and an additional $300 to pick up and deliver it. Astronomical ! Just want my $99 dollars back and I'll refinish the piece myself.

Technician came out to look at my work last Thursday and have not heard from the company since. Still have not heard back from them regarding the estimate.

Too expensive.

Liberty Mutual referred me to this company to possibly repair a $2000.00 teak coffee table damaged by a water leak. Grio had my table for a week and a half and called me to tell me they would be able to fix it. Then he called me days later to say they would not be able to fix it - there was too much damage (three warped boards). I immediately told him that I wanted the coffee table back. He said he would call me and let me know when they could deliver it. A week went by, so I called him again. He delivered the coffee table the next day (today) in worse shape than when he picked it up. The finish has been scraped off one entire side of the coffee table and two of the round feet are not longer round because the would has been scraped off as if something had been scraped up against the table while in storage or transit. I called him to complain and his answer was that the insurance company was going to pay me in full for the table. I told him that it didn't matter, that not only was it unacceptable that the table came back with additional damage than when it left but my dealings with my insurance company were none of his business. His answer was that he was told the table was going to be discarded, which was a lie because I told him that I wanted the table back. Throughout the entire conversation he continued to repeat that I would receive my money from the insurance company. I not only would not recommend this company - I wound highly discourage anyone from allowing him to touch their furniture.

They always provide very prompt service, their prices are very competitive, and they do absolutely amazing work!
