I recently purchase the house and the floors were in bad shape so I did my research and came across Mr. Frias. He came and did an evaluation on my floors, gave me the bid and answer all of my questions. I decided to use his company to do the repairs, from day one to the end the crew was friendly and organized. I was very pleased with the work and will absolutely recommend him.

Ruined our floors

They did an excellent job matching the stain, feathering in the new rooms to the hall and making it look great. They removed all the carpet, leveled the subfloor, installed the hardwood, sanded, stained, finished and did the trim. All in about 1.5 weeks. They were very professional.

The first day no one showed up to do the work. When I called I was told they were hunting wood. The wood should have been purchased the day before, not on the day they were to arrive. The second day the crew got lost and I had to go to a central place to guide them to the house. There was nothing to be done on the third day because the glue had to dry; which I was not informed of. Work was restarted after painting and carpentry work (that were pre-scheduled) was finished. After some confusion as to where the house was, work was begun. It was completed in two days. Frias did not come to the job site at all, which I think they should at least once, to check on the work. I think a big problem this company has is that they used different crews each day. This was a disappointing experience. This company has never came back to fix or finish the work they left undone. He has agreed to come out and replace the wood he didn’t do in the first place. We called them to follow up. They claimed to have never heard of our account.

The work was a little slow in getting started. He came right away and gave me an estimate, but I had to call several times to actually get the work started,and at least two promised "start" dates were not honored. It kind of took a lot of energy to get them going, but once they did the work and the price were outstanding.

I like that he was very willing to get the job done fast and he was also very honest about rates. I really like the professional job that he did, especially since he used raw materials as well.

Julio's team showed up on time, on the scheduled day and immediately started working on our floors. We own a 1920's bungalow in the Heights area of Houston, so getting the floors right were a big concern to us. They sanded, stained and applied the first coat of sealer to the floors, then we had painters come in to do the painting. Julio's team was back at our house on the day we had scheduled to finish the floors. They work very fast, but did an amazing job on our floors. They shine like glass and are just beautiful. I cannot praise them enough for the wonderful job they did. Plus, the pricing was right on and lower than the other estimates we had received.
