Everything went quickly, the house was given a mini-energy audit, and in the end some weather stripping was placed on our garage door. Consider the service is free, it's a great deal. However, our house was reasonably up to speck, they said, and so there wasn't much they could do. The idea is to get terribly inefficient homes improved to get the maximum benefit.

These guys were AWESOME. Ramiro, the boss, was extremely patient while we went through the agonizing process of getting approved for an energy-efficiency loan (which apparently is very new, because no one seems to know anything about it). Once we were approved for the loan, he was always on top of things; explained what was to be done and estimated how long he thought it would take. The guys showed up on time every day. They were friendly, professional, efficient, thorough, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Joel, who was in charge, was especially kind; my husband works night shift and sleeps during the day. Joel did everything he could to accomodate us so that my husband could sleep that week. They worked quickly and though it actually took a third day to complete everything, they were cheerful and more than capable. They even found some damaged drywall that we hadn't noticed, and repaired it as well. Overall, this was an EXCELLENT experience. This is our first home, and if all encounters with contractors were like this, we'd never worry about hiring them! Thanks again, guys, for an awesome, amazing job.
