+ 1 moreOverall, this was just as bad an experience as I have ever had with any contractor. None of the work was done with the quality, scheduling, or neatness that was continually promised.

They did not do any complete aspect of the work as they stated. It was a horrible experience from beginning to end. They continually misled and made promises they did not meet.

+ 2 moreThe roof was not constructed with the proper materials. The decks and stairs were not constructed to code. They will not fix the failures and have left many vendors without payment. I have had to pay the vendors off. I have paid the entire contract and still have vendors to pay. I have filed complaints with the BBB, the attorney generals office and have a lawyer. The house needs about an additional $25,000 of work to correct all of the deficiencies. Francis has walked away from the project and will not even provide a $150 door at this point.
Description of Work: Hired Francis Development to rebuild my hurricane damaged home. They skimped on quality of materials after the project started. Many items failed inspections. they also do work under Coulter Construction. Lisa and Mike Francis www.coulterbuilt.com www.francisdevelopment.com
