We are completely satisfied; couldn't be more pleased with how things turned out. Laura is very detail-oriented and I suspect that's why she works alone. She arrived on the day she said and was done when she said she would be. We had a rather busy household while she was working, but she plugged along. She took down all the stuff on the walls (light fixtures, mirrors, switch covers, outlet covers, etc.) and stripped every piece of old paper off the walls. She arranged her work to minimize our inconvenience and didn't make a big mess. The wallpaper filled several trash bags and she loaded it all up herself and put it in the trash. She worked in the house on her own to a large degree though we would have been happy to help if she needed anything. She left to grab lunch and maybe to see other potential clients, but that's what entrepreneurs need to do. Laura says that she enjoys hanging wallpaper and the results certainly bear that out. I'm looking for something else to wallpaper just to get her back to work on another room. There are so many people who require direct and constant supervision to get good results, but not Laura. If you give her good directions and tell her what you want, she will probably exceed your expectations.

Laura did a wonderful job removing all the old wallpaper from the walls. She was on time and stayed until the job was completed. First she removed all cover plates and hardware and then proceeded to remove all the wall paper. She patched holes and primed all the walls. When she was done she cleaned up and left us with a new room ready for new paint. We were very pleased with the results.

She is excellent. When I call her, she calls me back. I don't have to sit around and wait on her. When she said she is going to be here, she is on time. She is so neat. I think it would leave a big mess when she takes off the wallpapers off the wall. She cleans up. I would have never known she has been here. If I can't get her within the first call, I just leave a message and she does call me back. My kitchen is unbelievable. When she took off the wallpaper, she did an excellent job.

Laura did a beautiful job in wallpapering the small ceiling in my townhouse foyer. She called in advance to confirm the job time, she arrived on time, was organized with her tools, neat in her work, and she finished very quickly. The wallpapering job was done perfectly; I can't see any seams. I am very pleased with Laura's work and additionally she is a nice person and easy to talk with. I plan to use her services again as I continue to remodel my townhouse.

Laura Adams is the best I have ever worked with in sheet-rock repair, and then texturing and painting. She repair some of our wall paper as well. Her painting is meticulous. I would definitely want her again for this kind of work.

From start to finish, Laura Adams epitomized the perfect balance of professionalism and customer service. I consider myself to be extremely picky and never expected anyone to truly fulfill my level of expectations. The quality of her work is worth much, much more than what she charges. Laura and her helper Dennis were incredibly efficient with their work and very clean. At the end of each day, everything was tidied and put back in place. I also have to add that Laura is one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of hiring! My husband and I are so satisfied that we have every intention of calling her to paint the rest of our house!

Laura does a great job. She is meticulous, and she really knows what's she's doing. She works alone but works quickly. I am thrilled with the work she did for us. She also charges significantly less than others from whom we received estimates. She did a small job for us and charged $100-$150 less than other wallpaper installers had quoted. She is very sweet and professional, as well, but she did arrive almost 2 hours later than we had planned. I believe she was caught on a previous job that took longer than expected, but I had taken the afternoon off work and waited for 2 hours before I heard from her. When she got here, though, her work was so good and so perfect that I really didn't care that she was late. I am still so glad we went with her and would absolutely use her again. She brings all her own materials, and she leaves the room spotless when finished. You'd never know she was there except for the gorgeous and perfect new wallpaper on the walls!

She arrived on time, set up and went to work. She knew how to arrange the grasscloth wallpaper for placement on the wal, (corners and such needing special attention). She was ever mindful of the finished product and we are very pleased with her work. We plan on hiring her again for furture projects.

This woman is fast, professional and good! She came in, set up, did what needed to be done, cleaned up and left. I was stunned by her price...I expected to pay more. Highly recommend her and am passing out her card to all my friends. (And about the "B" for punctuality: Wanted to keep this report honest. She was only about 1/2 hour late...and it is rodeo and we are somewhat near Reliant.)

Contractor gaves us a very good quote in terms of cost but clearly underestimated the job. She worked diligently to remove the multiple layers of wallpaper on the 60 year old house; however, she did not do a good job on preparing the walls for paint. They needed to be sanded and smoothed after she left. She also forgot the amount she had quoted to us. Her quote was just written down on a tablet piece of paper...not really professional in my opinion. She worked very h****** the job. She was very honest. She, I believe, did the best that she could.

This is the second time we've contracted with Laura. She is great. This was a big job. Our master bath is huge with a main room containing the shower and one sink, a second sink room, and two toilet rooms, all with 10 ft ceilings. The guest bath is one sink with a separate room for the toilet and full tub. It also has 10 ft ceilings. Laura and her assistant removed all the face plates and took down the light fixtures and three wall size mirrors (56" x 82", 56" x 84", 48" x 72"). They also removed the plastic shutters from six windows. All this before removing three layers of wallpaper from the master bath and one layer of wallpaper from guest bath. They then put primer on all the walls. Laura herself did the texturing of the walls to match the existing texture in the rest of the house. Her results are perfect for us. She and her assistant then used my preferred brand of paint (which she obtained) to cover all the walls. The master bath had three wall colors, which they placed just as I asked. The guest bath had two paint colors which they also applied as requested. I am extremely happy with the results. Laura estimated the job would take 5 days. Because our guest bath has very poor air circulation, the texturing took longer to dry than estimated so she came back at a time convenient for us to put the second coats on those two rooms. Laura Adams probably under-charges for the value she gives. She makes sure her supplies are organized before she leaves each day and she was very careful to wipe up the wallpaper residue (old glue?) that had gotten on the floor. When she did our kitchen, laundry room and mud room last fall, it was a truly good experience. This job was just as well done. Laura is coming back in three weeks to re-float three walls in entry with its 20 ft ceiling, repair two walls from which we've removed mirrors (yes, both walls were covered end to end with floor to ceiling mirrors), and paint the dining room, entry way, sitting area and two hallways. I was going to do the bedrooms myself, but if Laura has time, I'll ask her to take those on as well.

This was a redo of wallpaper in a very large master bathroom with rounded corners and complicated walls. Laura came in and did an absolutely amazing job. Very consiencious and detailed, and she stayed late every night to be able to finish the job in the time she'd estimated. We also had her finish out (paint and caulk) a window we'd framed out ourselves and she made it look good. She can do just about anything. The finished work is exceptional. I recommend Laura / First Class Wallcoverings 110%. She is worth every penny.

Laura was very professional and friendly. She was the only wallpaper provider I contacted who agreed to wallpaper a ceiling. The paper I selected was artist-designed and specially ordered. It was fairly expensive, so I was concerned about the quality of the wallpaper job - I certainly did not want to purchase additional paper. Laura did a fantastic job. I would definitely use her again.

Laura was professional, punctual, and, most important for wallpapering, an absolute perfectionist! When she gave me the initial bid, I had already selected the wallpaper and she let me know how much she needed for each room. Her estimates were right on target. I ordered the wallpaper from a discounted website, and when it arrived in the mail, I called Laura and scheduled the job. We were having some other work done on our kitchen at the time, and she was able to fit into the existing construction schedule with no problem. When other crews were working in the kitchen, she worked on the bathrooms. The wallpapering was a big job and took a few weeks to finish, but we were never inconvenienced. She always let us know in advance where she would be working, so that we could move things around and have bathroom space available. Laura was personable and easy to work with. She did a beautiful job on my house, and I highly recommend her.
