Extreme Air Duct Cleaning and Restoration Services

The 3-person team arrived on time. The one that spoke with me was courteous and informative. They did the job quickly, pointed out an error in the way my duct was built, and replaced a missing screw from the vent. I cant think of any negatives about this service call.

VERY WELL. VERY HARD-WORKING DID NOT WASTE ANY TIME GETTING DONE VERY THOROUGH AND CLEANED UP ANY MESS THAT HAPPENED. I FEEL I GOT MY MONEY'S WORTH.

I had recently installed a new HVAC system and wanted to start out with a completely clean system. Extreme staff showed up on time and were very thorough. They cleaned up after themselves and were friendly and informative.i opted for the full system detail that included duct sanitation and anti-bacterial treatment. They also cleaned the dryer vent system from the dryer to the exterior vent exit. They even replaced the flexible vent hose. I would definitely recommend this company and plan to use them for carpet cleaning as well.

Team showed when promised after phone call giving 30 minute notice. They were clean and professional. Since I had two units across 3 floors, the team lead ordered second team to come and help expedite job. All done within 2 hours. Soon after, manager sent email asking for feedback. My sense is that this is well managed company that is on top of their customer service game. Definitely would hire again.

We just bought the house and the other owners smoked. So we wanted to see if this would help and it did.

Cleaning options were explained over the phone and again when techs arrived. Vent hadn’t been cleaned in several years and needed deep cleaning. Cost was more than I wanted to pay but was the amount quoted. I initially called on a weekend and got much higher quote than when I called back on weekday. Overall they were on time and did good work. Dryer now dries in a reasonable amount of time. They also inspected air ducts but said they didn’t need to be cleaned yet.

The vent had not probably not been cleaned since the house was built and certainly not in the last 5 years of my ownership. They used a filter to catch everything that was vacuumed out of the vent and it was totally full. The dryer works so much better now. Money well spent. They vacuumed the vent while it was being cleaned with a brush and no mess left behind at all. A very professional job.

They were punctual, professional, and clearly explained every step of the process. They were also highly efficient and got the job done in a timely and prompt manner. There were no surprises nor hidden charges. Will definitely use again.

Was never contacted back by the company. When attempting to call all I receive is the message "no phones are available try calling again later". It is impossible to reach or get responses from this company.

We had just had our HVAC service professional come out and do an inspection of both our AC units. One unit is brand new, the other is older. We got a good report regarding the functioning of both systems. I did ask about cleaning the vents, and the HVAC service professional said we could have the basic cleaning done. We had just had them cleaned 2 years prior. I inquired of four competing companies within Angie's list and we thought we would try Extreme Air Duct Cleaning and Restoration Services. They quoted us a price of $149 for the vents to one unit. The window of service was to be an afternoon appointment, on a Sunday, between 2 PM & 6 PM. We received a call at 12:30 PM saying they were headed are way. We were not home at the time, but were headed that way anyway. Once at our home, the service tech, Sunny G, came in and asked what service we needed. I thought this was odd since we set up the appointment on-line and received responses back to my requests. I told him we wanted the basic cleaning to only 1 unit. I told him that we had just had our AC units serviced, two days prior, and just wanted to have the air ducts cleaned. After I told him what I wanted, he wanted to know who had serviced our air-ducts previously, how they were cleaned, and wanted me to repeat what our HVAC service professional said. Sunny cut me off when I repeated what the HVAC recommendation was and said that he would look at the vents and tell me what really needed to be done. He then went into the attic. 10 minutes later, he returned and said that it would cost us about $869 to do the cleaning. He showed us pictures of what he found in our ducts. He said the $869 was for the 7 air vents up stairs. I did become quite frustrated as we have 12 vents upstairs, and not 7. When I told him this, he back pedaled and said, "Oh", then it will be cheaper. I then clarified that we just wanted the basic cleaning done. He said, "No, we will not be doing anything for you today". He wrote up his quote for the higher priced cleaning, and a quote for the duct work to be all replaced, which was about $2500. Both costs did not include tax. Needless to say, I was upset by the whole experience. I get the goal of the "up sell", but the technique, the rigidity, and accepting our work request then refusing to do the job was very upsetting. As he left, he stated that he was confident we would call them and to have a nice day. I will not call them, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I had prepaid Angies List. They showed up with two employees, but stated that they could not do the work unless I stayed in the house. Since I live alone, and needed to work in my office in my garage, they left and said they would contact me re: rescheduling. Never happened!

The cleaning crew was Very nice and Very professional service. They came set up and worked quickly and the prices are reasonable. I would use them again!

I bought a savings coupon from Angie's list for duct cleaning for $139.00 I was contacted by Extreme within 2 hours of my purchase and they made an appoinment for Monday the 30 of April but I should have been cautious at that time as the person on the phone expained that this was a price for just cleaning and that other problems might surface when they showed up for the appointment. On the 30th Exteme showed up on time as scheduled and after going to the attic to check the ducts the forman informed me that other problems had arisen. He showed me photos that there was mold and midew in the mixing boxes. He then quoted me the price of $2800 to replace the mixing boxes with metal ones, $1500 for replacing the existing boxes with similar ones or $500 to clean and de-mold the existing ones. Since my wife has COPD the cleaning of the boxes was essentiol for her comfort so I had to choose the $500 treatment. After Extreme air completeed the work which took approximately 30 minutes the cleaned up and left. Never once was I invited to visit the attic to inspect the work myself and the supervisor didn't even show me the pictures of befoe and after. I think that it was all a rip to offer a coupon for a service and from thge git-go say that there may be problems

I have a 21 years-old house. The A/C Air ducts seemed not to have been maintained and need to be cleaned. As there is several types of cleaning, I asked the company to come first to check which cleaning was more appropriate. The technician was courteous and professional but he showed me that a A/C Duct needed more to be replaced than cleaned. The replacement with my 2 plenum boxes (i have 2 units) was quoted 7144$ tax included for 2 two stories house (1800 sq ft) but the quote did lack details and work/parts description for such amount of money. I had lately also remorse to do a air duct replacement by a air duct cleaning company. I did write the company to postpone the work until I could do more quotes. Susan did acknowledge immediately my request without any difficulty. I can not say anything about the effectiveness of this company as I did not really hire them but they have been professional and courteous so far thru all this process.

Found bacteria built up in my air duct system. Extreme cleaned the ducts & removed the Bacteria. In addition, we asked for every ceiling vent be removed and cleaned. We originally had an Angie’s coupon for an air duct cleaning and inspection for $139 ($399). Upon inspection bacteria was found and the recommended fix was for the full service bacteria removal for $399. The charge to pull down and pressure wash 12 ceiling vents was $120. The job took 2 1/2 hours to complete and they were very thorough and complete. They were on time, professional and friendly. Overall, a painless and effective experience that was fairly priced.

They showed up on time. The cost was exactly what I was expecting. He was very professional and polite. He even told me I really didn't need it done, but with having dogs I wanted to make sure everything was operating well. They came out and did a great job. He needed to go through the garage and made sure it was okay before exiting due to me having does. They were very quiet I even forgot they were here.

They crew arrived on time. They notice mold in our duct system and a bird nest in our dryer line and recommended to clean it. We agreed. They removed all the vents and wash them, took pictures of the ducts before and after the cleaning and share them with us. We asked for a carpet cleaning estimate from the tech and decided to add that to the service as well. My carpets fell clean and fresh. I'm very happy with the servicemen and the quality of work provided to us.

They were fast, professional and courteous. I feel like they went the extra mile to do a good, clean job as well.
