Eric Herrera Tile

It was a pleasure having these workers in my home. The were very tidy, professional, hard working and their work was superb. I would recommend them to anyone!!

Mr. Herrera returned my call promptly, set up a time to inspect and was very punctual and professional. He sent a clear bid which I accepted and he was able to send someone to perform the service the very next day. That gentleman was also punctual and professional and the job was completed faster than we expected. In addition they were generous with picking up the tile I had found. All in all we were very pleased with their professional approach and quality work.

I called Eric on a Friday and he came right away to my house to look at the areas and give me an estimate. I had the estimate that very day. I called Eric and asked him how soon he could start. He said Monday. Monday morning he and his crew arrived on time and began their expert work. They were done within the same week and it looks perfect. Thank you Eric Herrera Tile and team

Eric responded to me very promptly on Angie's List and set up a time convenient for me to come out and bid the work. He showed up on time and gave me a quote that afternoon. I then booked the install within a few days and once again, he showed up on time and did the work he promised. Additionally, I asked him to do some grout touch-up work in my other bathrooms and not only did he do that but he also recommended a couple products I could buy to maintain similar issues in the future. The tile in the shower looks fantastic and drains perfectly. I would HIGHLY recommend Eric as his work is excellent and he is extremely professional.

Eric came to look at the tile in my home and said he would send me a quote. He never provided his quote. Update - I never provided my email address to you, therefore it's not possible to have gone to spam. We communicated strictly by text which does not have spam.

It is beautiful and Eric was awesome I nothing but praise for him.

This is the 3rd time I've used Eric for work and each time has been excellent! The crews are always on time, nice to work with, take pride in what they are doing and never leave a mess behind! I have a few more projects to be done and look forward to working with them again

The work performed by Eric's crew can only be described as excellent! I could have never thought it would be impossible to tell where the new tiles were installed. Eric responded to my phone call promptly and we were able to set an appointment immediately. He was punctual and took note of the work needed to be performed, as well as of my expectations for a first class work. His crew showed up the next day, a few minutes before the agreed time, and got to work immediately. They were very courteous, highly professional and very careful in keeping the access through the master bedroom well protected. The work was completed surprisingly fast and they cleaned up the work area very well.

After several attempts to reach Eric Herrera over the course of about 5 days, he finally called back. We scheduled an appointment for him to come out and look at the job and he missed the appointment -- no call, no show. Three days later, I received a random text message from him asking when I was available. Needless to say, I was no longer interested in his services at that point.

Their work is inferior. Within a year the caulking started peeling. It should be able to hold up if it gets wet. I feel that I was ripped off.

Eric was willing to discuss my job, but apparently not interested in giving me an estimate, or actually doing the work. He asked me to call him back the next week, claiming he was busy at present. After numerous attempts to call him, it finally dawned on me that he had probably blocked my number...Using a friend's phone, I was able to get through on the first ring. Glad I didn't get duped into paying this guy. Imagine trying to contact him with a concern once he's paid for your job.

The entire process went very, very well! They came out to give us a free estimate, got the work done quickly and did a beautiful job.

During our first meeting, Eric looked around and measured the kitchen and bathroom areas needing work. You could tell he had experience from his interaction and was punctual and professional (both good indicators, based on other contractors we have hired in the past). He followed up promptly with an estimate. His crew consisting of 2 guys did the kitchen tile work in 1 day and were a pleasure to work with. They were clean and did a great job prepping. Overall, the kitchen looks excellent and we are looking forward to having the opportunity to work with him again.

Herrera returned my initial call promptly. He came by to inspect the work and returned a bid that afternoon. An employee was out the next day to make the repair. The courteous employee arrived on time, made the repair and cleaned up the work site. No fuss or trouble for the whole experience. The price was reasonable considering the two trips to my home (the bid and the job) and the work time and materials. I saved his contact information and will call him again if I need tile work done.

After the new tile was installed it began leaking again after few months. We called and after several days they came back and "recaulked". After three days the caulk began to peel off and showed that the tile was leaking again. After the third time to call back they came and said it needed to be "recaulked" again and they would be back in a couple days. Made numerous attempts calling to have them come back but never an answer just a text saying he was out of town. We paid someone else to fix the shower. Wouldn't recommend...poor customer service and warranty.

Eric Herrera Tile had previously done a small job at our rental house where they replaced several cracked and broken tiles. Mr. Herrera showed up on time for the initial consult, offered a fair price for the scope of work, and did the work in a timely and clean manner. When we realized this week that a bathroom vanity remodel would require another small job, we contacted Mr. Herrera on short notice and he worked diligently to accommodate us, even offering a crew member to come out that night to do some of the work. We declined because we were not in the area to allow them access to the home, unfortunately. The next day, which was a huge blessing because we weren't sure how to rearrange schedules with the plumber to be sure the vanity sat on equal flooring as the rest of the bathroom, Mr. Herrera sent a punctual and polite crew member to do the work for us. We were very pleased with the professionalism with the entire project, the reasonable cost for such short notice, and the overall work done. Mr. Herrera saved us days of delays and headaches by working so hard. We will be using their company again as soon as we need any size job done, and cannot compliment them enough!

He looked over the outdoor kitchen and said he could do it and would get my a quote by the next day or over the weekend. That was 4/28. Never heard back a thing even though i gave him my email and had my cell. At the time, i even asked him if the job was too small and not to waste each other's time. He assured me it wasn't. Now, I AM certain that he will see this bad review and reply with some excuse, "i lost your information" or "i tried to contact you" (DID NOT) or "my truck broke down". He shouldn't be on Angie's list if he isn't honest with people or communicate properly. He had his chance and he blew it. Eric, quit wasting people's time. Just tell the truth. It will set you free.

Mr. Herrera came and provided a very reasonable estimate. The work was scheduled promptly. His brother, along with his team, removed the existing tub and shower, plus the plastic shower pan.They also had to contour the existing concrete shower floor to create a new one that would drain. They then installed a new, age in place wheelchair accessible shower. They installed the tile floor so there was no bump or curb separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom. I did not want any glass or door so they installed a walled tile enclosure. The floor needed to drain and simultaneously not get water all over the bathroom. The shower floor was from the same tile as the rest of the bathroom floor. To create a shower floor that would drain, Mr. Herrera custom cut every piece of the shower floor tile from 13" square tile into tiny pieces. It was intricate work. They installed the wall tile all the way up to the ceiling. They also tiled all around the window that was over the tub space. We now have a tiled shower stall plus an tiled area where the old tub and shower were. It may look like a school gym locker room to some, but it was exactly what I wanted. The team was great. The work was done on our schedule, at our convenience. They did a good job of cleaning every day.

Mr. Herrera is always prompt when coming out to do quotes. His price was a bit higher than another I had received, but I decided to go with him because he is very reliable. The three man crew came out on the scheduled day and on time. They moved quickly, the cuts and symmetry were perfect. The lead worker was even able to cut around the crown molding. The only issue was the grout color dried in different colors in different areas. No one is sure how it happened. I called Mr. Herrera and sent him pictures. He told me to give it the weekend to dry and that if it still didn't look right to let him know. The weekend came and went and the grout didn't change so I called him and he sent his son and another employee to correct it, the same day, I believe. He had to hand scrape he areas that were affected, then regrout those areas. It came out perfectly!

The job went very smoothly. Crew showed up at around 8:30 a.m. and left by 2 p.m. The grout was installed 24 hours later by 1 person who spent about 1/2 day and did an excellent job. Eric checked on the work and gave me 10% off with my angieslist coupon. My wife and I are very happy with the work.

From first contact with Mr. Herrera himself the tile project was estimated correctly and the installers were courteous, professional and extremely clean and tidy (both inside and outside). The original estimate included services we ended up performing ourselves so those items were easily deducted from the final price. Extremely satisfied and I would hesitate to use Herrera Tile again.

Great workmanship and price.

Mr. Herrera did a wonderful job correcting with porcelain tiles the floor pitch of my outdoor patio. The company who did the concrete floor left me with a pitch level inward instead toward the exit corners of the floor. Thanks to Mr. Herrera team now I don't have to deal with water stuck in the middle of the patio cover. The floor now looks beautiful and functional.

They were professional, time accountable, competitively priced and real craftsmen. They did a wonderful job. The estimate was for 4 days. Even with running into the linoleum under the carpeting which was not expected they were complete in 3.5 days. I highly recommend Eric and his team which were primarily Eric's relatives.

Mr. Herrera was very responsive to our phone call, came out the next day and sent a price estimate that same evening. We called to confirm the price and asked that the work be carried out. His workers came out promptly on the promised morning, they did the work efficiently, and everything looks wonderful as if it was brand new.
