Eric Herrera Tile

It went great. Eric came out and took measurements and got us an estimate the next day. He had an opening the following week so his crew came out and installed the tile we had purchased. We had some damage to the kitchen floor tile and the backsplash after having to redo the kitchen due to Hurricane Harvey and they were able to seamlessly fix the floor with spare tile we had and add new tiles we had sourced for the backsplash to the point I can't tell the difference between the original tile and the tile added in.

It went great. This was the second time I used them and I highly recommend their company. It is family owned and they give fair prices for great work.

Their team coordinated the work so that our family of four was able to remain in the home with adequate eating and sleeping accommodations during the entire project. The workers were professional, courteous, punctual, and very careful with our appliances and furniture. Eric and his family did an absolutely beautiful job of remodeling our bathroom. We contracted for a shower demo, rebuild, and tile/mosaic/shampoo niche, tile the bath surrounds, and to tile the floor. Special thanks to Leon and Efren for their attention to detail and their expertise. They work with you for any questions and ensure that the job is exactly what you want. Very easy to work with and a fun bunch of guys. Eric and his son (Jr) were here at the end of the job to ensure everything was OK and took care of the last finishing details. It was wonderful. ?I think his father is Eric and he's Eric Jr. ?I believe they are a family business which is great for me. ?But he sent a workman out. ?We bought the tile. ?We picked it out at a wholesaler and then he went over and got it because it took us a long time to decide what we wanted. ?We wanted something outside that was non-slip. So they took the old tile up and replaced it. ?We didn't ask for it because I said I really need something around the front door fixed up because I was just looking dirty. ?He ripped out the whole area and replaced it. ?We have like a 30 foot long front porch. ?He put tile all around all of area where the concrete is showing. ?He cut ceramic tile and covered that whole thing for the 35 feet of porch. ?And we didn't ask him to do that. He just did it. It just really completes the front porch and makes it look great. Between what he did on the door; I thought he was only going to put tile around the bottom of the door but he ripped the whole thing out, rebuilt it and put tile there and put tile all around the concrete showing on the front porch. ?He did a great job. ?He was very reasonably priced. ?That's why I thought I'll have him look at the shower. ?But I would like to get some other quotes. ?He was just an A in all categories. ?He was polite. He was professional. He wrote up everything. ?When I asked him to do something, he pondered it and he did not give me a one sized fits all answer and he went out and said we this and that and the other and said yes we can do this. Then he came and they did a lot more than what we had agreed on. ?They were really good. ?He was professional. ?He was courteous. ?He was prompt. ?And the guy he sent out to do the work was the same thing, just you know, very professional. ?I would say, ?"what about this?" and he would say, "well I can do this for you" and he would do it. ?Just really responsive and I did not feel like I was getting a one size fits all project. ?They knew what they were doing for me. ?I would use him again. ?He really wanted a lot on that shower and I want to get another quote.

Job went very well and I had them put up another to tile mosaics.

Had to come back two times because the caulk didn't seal properly. Needed to dry out the water that went behind the tiles.

The floor looks great! I was very impressed with the quality of the work, especially with the sharpness and evenness of the grout lines. Eric had to slope the tile across the length of the kitchen floor, because the foundation was slightly higher at one end of the room. He also had to lay several tiles at a slight angle in order to allow the dishwasher to fit under the kitchen counter top. You cannot tell at all that the tiles slope down towards the kitchen wall. We are very happy that we paid extra to use fusion grout with the tile, as it will save us work in the future and it looks great now.

The did an excellent job. The team was on time and very courteous. The floors look great and i have no complaints at all. would definitely use again.

Excellent work. It was a bigger job than I realized and the countertop looks a good as new. He pulled off all of the loose tile, put down the proper backing (which was missing), cut the new pieces and fit everything back in perfectly. He even screwed in some tile backing board that was not properly secured--I would never have known if he would have skipped that step since the tile would have lasted a couple of years before starting to fall off again. He looked for cracks in the grouting on the secure tiles and filled in any he found to make them stronger.

Great. Eric is wonderful and we will use him again to install our kitchen backsplash.

Excellent job, they tore out tile, replaced shower pan and placed new tile. Eric went into my attic and found some of the original tile so we didn't have to redo the entire shower.

The entire project went extremely well. This is the third time we have used Eric and his crew of outstanding guys. They are also adept at problem solving. One box of marble floor tile didn't match the other boxes particularly well, and there was no way to return/exchange or otherwise alter the plan. The guys were able to artistically place the non-conforming tile behind the toilet and behind a door and no one is wiser.

Swimmingly, as usual. This is the 3rd time we have used Eric Herrera Tile in 5 years. Eric and his guys are pros. Eric will send you a detailed bid describing all of the work and a list of supplies including the number of s.f. of tile the customer needs to buy. I booked Eric two months in advance to fit the needs of my schedule and the project. The crew are tile experts, and can lay any design and configuration you desire with keen expertise. They cleaned up every day before they left. The entire project was complete in 6 days, including one day for the plumber to do his work. The price is fair, and the work is expert. Payment after the work is done.

Eric and his crew were amazing, and amazingly fast! He was super responsive and gave us a detailed quote with price breakdowns. He did the project for a fraction of what contractors wanted. He was great on scheduling, super flexible. I tried to have all the materials ready for them to start, but a couple things were delayed and they had to come back a couple times, but he was totally fine with that and available whenever I needed him. They got an amazing amount of work done the first week-our painter and cabinet guys were blown away by the speed of our project. They always put down drop cloths everywhere they were going to walk and were courteous and clean. . We did some marble mosaics and it all couldn't look better. These guys are the real deal. Super capable, great price, great to work with. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

They did a great job. On time, neat, respected the house and me. They went by our schedule so my husband could remove and disable the old plumbing.

We hired Eric Herrera Tile to retile our tub surround and replace the tile at our fireplace. His employee AJ did a terrific job. The finished product looks great, but its more than that: AJ met with me to show me how my tub was not level, and so the strip of decorative tile that I wanted would be affected, and together we determined the best solution. He also ran to Lowes himself to pick up a few more pieces of tile for the fireplace. Overall, a great guy to work with!

This would be the THIRD time I have had this bathroom shower and tub tiled. I waited three years after the last contractor because I was so upset. Needless to say I was not disappointed. Mr. Herrera has a great sense of humor! His crew was on time the first day and completed the work when stated. The work is AMAZING! Perfect! Everything is lined up the way it is supposed to be. I am totally pleased. I love my bathroom now. My husband and I decided no one else will work in our house except Mr. Herrera and his crew. I added the cubie area in the powder room after I saw how good the work was. God bless you.... Now you make me want to do more stuff. :)
