Best decision to hire Eric Herrera Tile “a must hire”. The price was the best quote of four estimates. Eric showed up on time for initial estimate, actual installation and final walk through/inspection before paying the bill. His crew is very professional “true craftsman in their trade”, continually cleaning up after themselves and ensuring we were satisfied as the job progressed. We remodeled the master bathroom with Travertine and Mosaic/glass trim that turned out better than we were able to visualize during our selection process. We provided all tile and grout as that was our choice. Eric is a man of his word and delivers exactly what he tells you. Eric and his crew are honest hard working individuals that we will hire again to do additional work and a company we will recommend to our family, friends and neighbors.

I always worry about a small job if people will even show up. Eric gave me an estimate and completed the work within a couple of days. On time, in and out with no hassles. Great job at a fair price. Just needed some repair work. I would use him again in a minute.

It worked out good. It was great and he did an awesome job. He has a quick turnaround. He has an experienced veteran staff and they knew what they were doing. It was very, very easy and they left everything super clean.

Eric Herrera di an excellent job of replacing my leaking shower pan. He was able to match the tile very nicely and did an excellent job replacing the new tile. He returned my call promptly, came to give an estimate very promptly, and completed the job within 2 days. And they left the area very clean and neat. I highly recommend Eric Herrera.

Eric wrote up a quote for the floor tile with an estimate of the square footage of 12-inch tiles required. We placed the order with the distributor, Crossville Tile, and then Eric had to contact them to give approval for his account. We then payed Crossville directly, and they emailed us a copy of the order. Eric said his guys would come the next day on Friday, January 25, but they could not because of another job. That is the only reason that they didn't get an A for punctuality. Actually, the delay gave us some time to get the payment worked out with Crossville Tile. Eric's guys did come the next Monday and completed the tile work that day, and they came back on Tuesday to install the toilet. The tile work was done quickly, and their work looks beautiful.

Eric quoted the job in November, and he placed the tile order with the distributor, Crossville Tile. There was some confusion at first since he wanted us to make the order, but Crossville would not allow it. We payed Crossville directly for the tile on November 29, and it took a couple of weeks to receive the special order tile. We also ordered the plumbing fixtures and bars ourselves on the internet. Work began on December 26. They removed the old drywall and installed moisture proof walls. After 4 days they had most of the tile installed, but we needed to order more bullnose trim pieces. After about a week to get the trim tile, the tile work was completed in a couple of days. The installers communicated with us very well on tile options and the placement of the bars during the project. We ordered the counter top and toilet at Lowes, and Eric picked it up for us. The sink was a very tight fit in the old cabinet, but somehow they made it work. They did a beautiful job installing the new faucet for the sink and the new toilet. They removed the mirrors and wallpaper. When they were surprised to find a hole in the wall where there used to be a medicine cabinet, they fixed the wall without us even asking them. The price charged by Eric's plumber seemed a little excessive, but Eric gave a refund on the plumbing work to make it more reasonable. However, the plumber did quality work replacing some corroded pipes and installing the new shower fixtures. In the initial phase of working with Eric, he was not very quick to respond to phone calls. However, as we got deeper into the project, he was very responsive to phone calls and test messages. Eric's guys did excellent work, they wanted to do the job right even if it took more time, and they handled surprise problems well. Eric was very accomodating and flexible with us.

Eric showed up when promised. Quoted what I thought was a reasonable price for the work need to be completed. He sent his helper the next day, they were quick, professional and did a nice job cleaning up.

Great job, beautiful work done and in a timely manner. Would recommend.

He was the original installer 12 years ago. He checked all of the tiles repairing and grouting the loose ones. He met all of my expectations in the repair.

Removing existing tile from a concrete slab with out braking it is a tricky job, Eric's guys did an excellent job, and found sufficient tile to complete the job. They were on time, very responsive to the tight schedule I had on the project. I am very pleased with the result and can highly recommend them.

two weeks--a little longer than estimated, but ok.

I am an interior designer and had a master bath makeover promised in time for the holidays although my usual tile guy was unavailable. So I found Eric Herrera on Angie's list and contacted him so he could take a look at what the project entailed; he arrived right on time and was very likable. He assured me that he would "stand-by", ready to start just as soon as we were ready for him to begin. It was a rather involved project, as there were many design details (borders, etc.) and all of the tile was to be laid on a diagonal. His guys were very precise, making sure that everything went together just perfectly-the first time! Each of the guys that worked on the project was courteous, knowledgeable and they communicated among themselves to manage the details properly. Additionally, THEY WERE THE CLEANEST TILE-SETTERS I HAVE EVER USED! Almost no grout mess was left behind. Eric Herrera helped me create an absolutely beautiful project for my client, and made sure everything got done on time and all for a reasonable, agreed-upon price. As a professional designer, used to working with "these guys", I am totally impressed with Eric Herrera Tile! I will definitely ask for his help with future projects!

The service was done extremely well! The two workers showed up right on to e and got right to work! I only have on little complaint and that is that they didn't, do a very good job cleaning up after themselves! I had a lot of stuff with grout left on it and had some extra cleaning to do! I will use them again when the time comes again!!!

After I called they came to get measurement in order to give us an accurate estimation of the project. When we decided to do the project they scheduled and carried out. After completion we found some gaps between tiles to be fixed, so I called them. In a few days they came and did the work needed.

Herrera Tile came and gave an estimate and discussed different options of what could be done. We were able to find the tile that matched the existing (we had just bought the house and we found extra tile stored above the garage). We called Herrera back and he adjusted the work schedule replacing the tile would take longer than just doing caulking. The worker was very professional and when to an extra effort to make sure the new caulking matched the old. After the repairs were made you cannot even tell that they were done as they did a terrific job of matching everything.

FANTASTIC JOB!!! You cannot go wrong hiring Eric and his crew to take care of any of your tiling needs - they are great! I am so glad I found them through Angie's List, and I hope that my review also helps others to make a decision. Eric is very nice and friendly, and he came out the very next day after we called him. We spoke with him at length and were impressed with his honesty and professionalism. His team showed up on time and worked very hard, and we definitely plan to use them again on future projects. My only complaint is that they should have put up heavy plastic (like painters use) in the doorways to prevent the tile dust from flying into the adjoining rooms. EVERYTHING was covered in dust in the two bedrooms next to the tiling area, and it was a big job to clean it all up. So be sure to ask them to do that when they install your tile or flooring. Having said that, however, I still highly recommend them! :-)

Very good work and the guys were friendly. Eric said that he would be able to start in a couple of weeks, but then had a cancellation and started two days after he came by to quote the job. Had to pick up some more materials because I was short and they had no problem waiting for them. Felt fine leaving them in the house alone. Would use them again.

Eric was great to work with. He was prompt in his response of my inquiry and punctual throughout the process. His guys came in confirmed the work to be completed, laid down protective paper in the house to not track any dirt throughout, and confirmed work was to my satisfaction when completed. Very easy to work with, very professional, and above all high quality work. You get what you pay for and you will get your money's worth with Eric.

Overall I would rate Mr. Herrera as excellent. A competitor out bid him by only a few dollars but because we are working within a tight budget we did not select his bid.

Left a VM and received a prompt phone call back from Eric. He wasn't able to complete the job due to my time constraints (I needed the work done this week), but was very professional on the phone.

Eric Herrera Tile was outstanding. Eric was prompt in his response, came out and gave us an estimate to clean, regrout, & replace broken tiles in both a master bath and guest bath. They replaced the old checker board tile border in the shower area of the master bath with mosiac glass tile, made a shampoo niche, and regrouted and recaulked the shower. The project took 2 days to complete, the service was great and the crew were nice to work with and extremely neat. I was pleased with the price, the timeline, and the people I dealt with.

Eric and his team were very professional and did a fabulous job. I thought I would have to redo all the grout on the tile floors and replace the bathroom tile in the master bath, but Eric's team made everything look new! A special note...my sister is disabled and on a limited budget. I asked Eric to go to her house and see if a cracked tile could be replaced. He explained that replacing one tile was not possible, but sent his brother over there to "make magic". His brother made up a mixture of ceramic and color, you would never know that the tile was broken, it blends in perfectly! And the charge? FREE...Eric did this as a community service for the disabled. My sister and I are blessed to have met such a great man. Thank you Angie's list

Eric arrived promptly to give me a quote, which was the second cheapest out of 4 other angieslist rated contractors. I selected Eric for price and enthusiastic recommendations on angieslist. He scheduled work the following week, and was willing to be sensitive to my tenants' needs and desire for privacy. His two workers showed up promptly at the appointed time, were courteous cleaned up meticulously after themselves each day on the two day job. The finished on time, even though the workers decided that an additional tile feature was necessary around the glass block window to insure that there was no leakage into the substrate. I had them buy the tile for the job, which they did, and invoiced me for the actual cost. They also purchased the additional tile for the feature around the glass block window, and the final adjusted bill was only for the actual cost of the additional tile, not for any additional labor or travel, which was really much more than fair. They also took the time to clean up the bath & shower fittings before reinstallation. These guys are the epitome, the table qua table, if you will, of what one would want and expect from an angieslist contractor. They are honest, provide a quote and then go beyond what is necessary to do a first rate job, and don't quibble if it might have cost them a few extra bucks. The quality of the work is very good and I definitely plan to use them again.
