Description of Work: replaced hail damaged roof

Description of Work: They came and solicited us just like 20 other companies did after a hailstorm. When people were most vulnerable. I liked what I heard initially, and they had a good pitch. They used a McAllen address, and it said "BBB" in the top corner of their business card. I don't know that they had too much other information. This company had a virtual company office here in McAllen. They basically just stopped in after the two hail storms, and then got back out. My lawyer sent this company a certified letter & they did not receive it but yet they did send me three certified letters stated that they wanted the other half of the money that their contract had & it was another five grand and change. What E P G did is that they hired a Joe subcontractor to perform the dirty work. The very poor workmanship has been seen by other roofing companies in the McAllen Tx local area & they confirmed they did an unsatisfactory job. I have photos, video, text messaging & even recordings of conversations of the people responsible for this roofing job including the higher up. I even have information on voiding warranties if improper installation was performed from the GAF roofing materials co. They did not remove all underlay to properly check for any rotted materials. They did not adhere to their end of their contract. They sent threatening letters, text messaging, & voice mail to my brother & I which we do not appreciate. They threatened to place a lien on the home, send somebody to jail and also accused me (us) of fraud. I demand a new roof for EPG to pay for damages as they said they had against me (us). I will never believe any company from out of town again especially EPG ROOFING from TX, LA, FL, OK, TN, MS nor from the Eastern Seaboard as advertised on their web site @ www.EPGmscom. One last thing for the moment is that I did send a formal complaint to the BBB as well.
