I asked Ed to email me the pictures he'd taken on his camera on the roof of my house. Several days passed before he emailed me the pictures, and I had to ask/remind him twice to send them to me. He never contacted me again. I lined up two different roofing companies to look at my roof and give me an estimate on replacing it. Both of these two large, well known Houston roofing companies told me my roof did not need replacing. One of them told me I COULD do some minor repairs that wouldn't total more than $250 but that it really wasn't necessary to do even that.
Description of Work: Once Ed came out he went on the roof and took pictures which he showed me on his camera when I asked to see them. What he showed me seemed impossible as we had had no damage from our roof leaking, and if what he showed me was what was wrong, there was no way we could have NOT gotten some water damage from the roof leaking. Because I didn't believe the pictures I was looking at came from my own roof, I contacted two other roofing companies to look at my roof and give me estimates. Ed said my roof needed replacing right away.

Edward was very good at convincing Allstate that there was storm damage, so his participation secured most of the funding. I had no idea I was eligible. So I thank him for that. The work went well, even though I paid a few hundred dollars more than Allstate offered in payment, I felt like I just needed to get the job done ASAP and not burn up time and money shopping around (and maybe risk the price going up due to the delay). Ed forgot to paint the drip edge, and it took him about a month to find crew time to get that taken care of, which was annoying. I heard from his salesman, Nick Obregon, and Nick said hadn't been paid by Ed, I thought this was unprofessional (on both their parts), and I really wish I hadn't been brought into the middle of that dispute.
Description of Work: This contractor replaced my entire roof.
