Description of Work: I had the laundry room floor tiled and notice when the dryer was removed from the room there was a lot of lint. Even though I always clean the dryer lint screen before each dryer load apparently a lot of lint entered into the dryer vent any way. I had not noticed the time of drying laundry as being usually long so I didn't think I had a problem or needed the vent cleaned. Well, when I saw the lint around the dryer I immediately searched for a dryer vent cleaning company. When I contacted DVC, they were well informed, helpful and courteous. I called on Friday and scheduled a Monday appointment. Over the weekend I received a call indicating that they needed to schedule to a later time. That was okay with me so I scheduled for the 9-11am slot on Tuesday and asked that they call before arriving. On Tuesday at 9:00 Edmond called and said he was at my home. I was a few minutes away and told him I would arrive within 5 minutes, explaining that I was to have received a phone call prior to arrival. He responded very nicely and waited for my arrival. Edmund was courteous, professional and went to work immediately. He explained what he was doing as he worked to clean the vent. Most impressive was how hard he worked getting the dryer reconnected to the vent. The vent tube was not secure at the point the dryer was to connect. It was challenging, but he smiled and assured me I would be able to do my laundry by time he left. What a bonus, my drying time has reduced and I now know to have the vent cleaned each year. DVC specializes in this service and are professional and punctual. I will use them again.
