David was very professional and great to work with. He and his crew are very turstworthy and do a great job. I live in the historical heights area, so we had challenges getting permits approved, but David was very patient and got the job done.

Overall it went very well. They do take a lot of care in trying to get everything done right. Dave Dubois was onsite initially and often to check on progress and to get our feedback. Because our aging garbage disposal had been leaking, we had water accumulate on the bottom of the under sink cabinet, that also got down onto the concrete floor, and soaked the sheetrock on the wall behind the sink/cabinet. Insurance co. recommended removing the cabinets and repairing them because the supporting mdf sections had become water soaked and became brittle. By removing the cabninets it would have damaged the corian tops, by replacing the corian on one side, we'd have to replace the island top and opposite cabinet tops so they would match. When we removed the tops, the backsplash would have been damaged, so had to replace that. Removing the backsplash would have required we repaint the walls. All of these things as recommended by USAA came out to $15K approx. We chose to get a very nice granite instead of Corian, we had Dave and his team also put in an upgraded sink and faucet by Vigo. We had also chosen to replace the old flourescent lighting from 1998 with can lights and LED downlights on the island. In the end we spent approx. $4500 over the original ins. estimate. Because this was done through USAA, we paid our deductible, then USAA paid Dave and his team 1/2 of the estimated costs in one check at the beginning that they sent to us, we signed and gave to Dubuis Const. The remaining 1/2 was paid after we agreed the work was done. We paid Mr. Dubuis the overrages after we were satisfied with all of the final things were done to our satisfaction. Dave was helpful, helping us pick out granite and going out to the granite yard after we picked out our granite to make sure he got the right slabs. We had some extra peices of granite which his guys fashioned into lazy susan rounds, 18and quot; and 24and quot; in size. Dave and his lead supervisor Mark were very cordial and friendly at all times. Responsive and attentive to detail. Recommendations: Ensure you ask questions, nothing is a dumb question. If you don't like how something is giong, speak up as they will tell you why they do something one way or will be happy to do something differently if it makes sense. Do your research on things like countertop materials, upgrades, and replacement parts... upgrades might be the same amount or small upcharge.

The work was done well! My furniture was protected. They came out from 8am-6pm. Dave was very personable and courteous. They asked if they can stay late to get the job done.

He has done work for me before in the past. He is one of the recommended contractors by my insurance company and that's how I first found out about him. His name is David DuBois. They've been there for a week now. The last time they came out was last summer. Then my son-in-law was on the attic and he fell through the ceiling so I had a water leak in the upstairs bathroom. The water was running down the wall on to the first floor and it damaged the finish on the walls and hardwood floors that I have on the first floor. He took care of all that. He knows his business. I will always call him first. If I have a question about anything, whether it has anything to do with what he's doing here or not, he is always there to answer questions for me. If I have any other kind of problem with the house, all I have to do is pick up the phone and call him. He is a remarkable businessman.

I am satisfied with all aspects of services provided by DuBois Construction. I would definitely use them again. In fact, this was the second time I've used this company.
