The provider did an awesome job. The services was for my retired mother who is caring for my 87 year old grandmother; so I was very skeptical and careful who I sent over to the house to provide the service. Dixie Security Systems exceeded my expectations. I was not able to be onsite during the time of service; however, the technician called me prior to arrival and while performing the service to ensure things were going well. The technician arrived in a company vehicle and wore a company uniformed which made my mother feel comfortable and secure..

It seemed to be this technician's first day on the job. He was unsure of himself in the questions I asked him - not exacly what you want to have in a home alarm company. Pretty unprofessional - he told me I live in the middle of nowhere (Westheimer and Beltway 8). They changed out a battery which I was told would cost $125, but ended up being $25 (I'm not sure he knew what the price was.) I was told over the phone the price for monitoring was different than what it actually was because my system is connect to a cell phone, not a land line.

Dixie did a good job rekeying all eleven locks I requested and made me several copies of the keys. There was some confusion about price. They price per cylinder, and apparently some locks are double cylender, and some are single. Beacuse they didn't explain that over the phone, I got them to give me a few cylinders free. All in all good work.
