Denny's came recommended by some other contractors and the owner (Jason Bienek) seemed honest and responsible. I interviewed him and he made a bid on the project. He was not the cheapest bidder but he was competitive so we selected his company for the project. He assigned one of of his electricians to do the work and everything seemed to go fine until we moved back in the house after the remodel was complete. At this point we started to experience breakers trip several times per week on different rooms when the lights were switched on. We contact Denny's several times and they came out to look at the problem. They have blamed the problem on faulty breakers made by Square D, breakers which Denny's selected for the project. I contacted Square D to get their feedback and they walked me through some diagnostic measures to try and identify the problem. Basically I determined with Square D's help that I had some short circuits which are causing the breakers to trip. Denny's has been unable / unwilling to troubleshoot and fix the problem, so they just tried to blamed another company. At this stage I am planning to find another electrician to see if they can troubleshoot & fix the problem.

The two guys from Denny's showed up exactly at the day and time promised. Both were friendly and professional. They got right to work. I'd fought the entire previous afternoon trying to install a combo GFCI switch in a bathroom but never got it to work. They guy from Denny's had it installed and working perfectly in less than five minutes (yes, that's right). A previous owner did four or five splicing jobs on the wiring in the attic, but hadn't placed them in junction boxes. There was one near the edge of the roof like which I didn't think they'd be able to reach. They got to every single one and enclosed them in junction boxes. After coming down, they tested all the outlets and found one of the rooms wasn't getting power. They had to go back in the attic and fight with the wiring some more to figure out where the problem was. I know it was frustrating, and that it was cramped and dirty in the attic, but neither guy ever got angry or showed a bad attitude. They displayed positivity and professionalism the entire time. In addition, when I got the inovice I could tell they hadn't charged me for the additional time it took them when searching for, and fixing, the connection that caused the one room not to work. This is the second time I've hired Denny's and both times I've been extremely pleased with their work. I highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: I had them place some exposed wiring in junction boxes in my attic and install a combo GFCI switch in my guest bathroom.

I spoke to a commercial electrical company for an estimate that didn't do residential work. I mentioned Denny's and they said they'd heard good things about them. They said I should expect to pay between $1,200 and $2,000 for this project. When I called Denny's they quoted me $1,200. They came out the day they promised to. It was one man assisted by, I believe, his son. They were courteous and professional. They not only did a great job of replacing the panel box itself, but also raised the incoming wiring via a vertical duct attached to the roof so the incoming wires didn't hang so low across my yard as they came in from the pole. The entire service took less than half of one day, and they stayed around to make sure all circuits were functioning before leaving.
Description of Work: I hired this business to replace my old electrical panel which was original to my 1956 home.
