 + 0 moreI have used Data Doctors 4 or 5 times to clean up viruses on my PC and laptop devices. This time I had them build me a robust PC and transfer all my files from the 6 year old PC and 3 year old laptop to it. The pricing included a knowledgeable person coming to my home for the final install. Everyone is very polite and patient with customers. Sometimes tech guys can be so snobby. Not here. And the pricing for the new PC was excellent vis a vis the national chains, and included lots of help I wouldn't have received otherwise. Think of the time they saved me transferring my I tunes library and 1000s of family photos, etc.! I am grateful.

Description of Work: My daughter took two computers and laptop , they were only able to fix the laptop. I feel they charged too much and didn't offer much help.

 + -1 moreIt was a great experience. I was very pleased with the way they handled things. They were very responsive when I had a little doubt or when I didn't understand how certain things had to be changed and I liked that a lot. I was having some trouble with the icons on my PC. It was a Mac vs PC problem. The guy who was working with me didn't know much about Mac so he called one of his colleagues to solve my problem. I liked his attitude. He was able to solve it and I liked that too. I would use them again in the future if need be.
Description of Work: I used the services of Data Doctors about a year ago. They rebuilt a computer for me.

Description of Work: My computer failed because of a hard drive failure and a failing mother board. Quick diagnosis. Decided to have them build me a new computer since they had a good price. Worked with me on using my old video board, DVD, and other components which were better than those in the quoted bid. Tried to restore previous hard drive from backup with limited success to new computer (I was able to do this myself after some digging about). New computer a day or so later than promised. Came to house to deliver and set up within promised time frame. Set up new computer and attached all necessary peripherals (e.g. 3 printers, scanner, etc.) and made sure that all worked and that network and WiFi were working properly. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Seemed honest, fair prices, cooperative and helpful. A very good experience all around.
