Description of Work: When called, man said they did not repair Sears lawnmowers. When asked if he could suggest who else to call, he was rude but said a name. When asked what name he said because he couldn't be understood, he snapped "I already told you." I went to the other person on Angie's List and was very pleased.

+ -1 moreThe repair was done a day earlier than they told me it would be, which was nice. When I went to go pick up the mower, I noticed some oil leaking onto the deck. They thought the guy that pulled it out of the back room must have turned it on it's side for some reason, which caused the oil to leak through the carburetor. Regardless, they asked if they could keep it one more day, and that they would deliver it to my house for me! I went from irritated to impressed when they offered to do that. Afterwards the mower ran great, and I'll take it back to them next time.

Description of Work: I lived near Jones Road and FM 1960 for 11 years. On some items, they have a tough time competing with the big box stores on price. But they more than make it up in terms of knowledge, courtesy and willingness to help. If you live near this store and have a project around the house, I'd recommend that you stop by a give them a shot.

+ 0 moreSince I had the screen frame, repairing it was easy for whomever they send it to. It is hard to find someone to do screen repair. And you have to select the color and type of screen material you want in there. I found the do it yourself isle on screen repair at other hardware stores too confusing for me to do. For someone with a knack as a fixer, maybe they could repair their own. But I was pleased with Ace sending it out to be done.
Description of Work: I took in a window screen to be redone in screen material. My house is 38 years old and some of the screens are torn in spaces. The tech measured my screen and kept it to fix it. I have taken another one recently and plan on taking another one. It takes about a week to get it back.
