CY-FAIR FENCE

Hired this company based on personal reference neighbor received. Utility lines were clearly marked and they cut the internet line almost immediately. This is immediately following winter storms that resulted in over a week of no power, water, and plumbing repairs. I understand the issues from winter storms are not their problem but then to have internet line cut was incredibly frustrating and absolutely preventable. I recommend touring the workers through your yard upon arrival and before they begin working. Do not assume they are paying attention to marks for utilities or sprinklers. The owner’s lack of concern for the issue leads me to believe this happens to them regularly.

Adam's crew severely cut back a fruit tree. Per the contract they are not liable. The problem was in his professionalism or lack of and honesty when it was brought to his attention. If you value integrity this is not the company to choose.

Everything went very well. Adam was on time for the appt. to assess the work that was needed. He then provided me with a written quote which I accepted. In less than two weeks, he sent someone out to take care of the work. I was pleased with the work, professionalism and turnaround time. I highly recommend this company.

Adam was professional and punctual. He did work that several others turned down, and he did it well. He arrived when he said he would to give me a quote and then was on time to do the work. I will recommend him to all my friends should they need fencing or similar work in their gardens.

I contacted Adam and he came out that same day and took measurements and emailed me the proposal the next day. I must say I had two other estimates from other companies and they came in with the best price, and the best rating on AngiesList. Overall I had 103 feet of fence installed along with a 42and quot; gate. This house was in an HOA protected subdivision, so I first had to get the necessary permission and paperwork from the HOA approved, and then of course with fences, you have to go meet the neighbors and get them to agree to split their respective costs. It's a long process, and I explained that to Adam but I'm sure he is used to those situations. Took about 2 months before I was able to call back to Cy-Fair Fence and arrange a time. They needed half down and half upon completion which was OK with me. They were booked about 10 days out, so I had to wait. The appointed day came and 1 man showed up with his truck full of the materials. I asked him if he had help coming, but no, he handles it all himself. I was skeptical, but he worked hard for about 7 or 8 hours I guess it was and got it all replaced. Everything was straight, plumb, and exactly where the old fence was. He loaded up the truck with the rotten old wood and hauled it away. I was expecting him to ask for the final amount, but he just left. I called Adam he said just mail the check to him. Great! When you replace your fence just watch out, the fence people do not clear weeds, vines, and and quot;treesand quot; growing up through the fence line. It took the day before all day just to get ready to have the fence replaced. Also, since I'm sure they sub-contract this stuff, the guy in the truck did not have and quot;Cy-Fair Fenceand quot; sign on it. They could at least put on a magnetic sign, you know? But they did a great job. I know there are cheaper ways of fencing, such as using treated pine pickets instead of cedar and just using 2 rails instead of three, but you get what you pay for. This fence will outlast any pine fence by at least 3 times.

Company did a very nice job. I felt that the price was reasonable. They came back promptly the next day as I needed a little thing changed and they didn't charge. I would use them again.

I was very pleased with the work performed. I contacted CY-FAIR Fence Company on Fiday, the 19th of August. I soke to the office manager and explained what I wanted. I was advised that the construction manager was on another job but would contact me. I received a call on Monday, the 22nd. I spoke to "Ray". I told Ray that I wanted the fence on the west side of home replaced and wanted extra wide gate. I also explained that wanted extra support for the gate so it would not sag. Ray recommended a five foot wide gate with a metal frame and a three hinge swing. I agreed. Ray provided a written estimate the next day. I reviewed the estimate and approved construction on the 24 th. One week later the fence was installed. My experience with CY-FAIR Fence Company was positive. I will use them for any future project.

After finding Cy Fair on Angie's List, I made contact and someone was out within a couple of days to look over the scope of work. I received an estimate the next day just as I was told I would. Cy Fair then told me when the work would be done by and easily accommodated the addition of a gate. The price was very reasonable and it was very clear what I was paying for (i.e. price per foot, gate, removal of old fence material, etc.). The final product looked very good and was exactly what we discussed. The day after completion, Cy Fair made a visit to my house to look at completed fence and noticed a couple of things that they sent someone out to fix the next day. It was definitely pleased with Cy Fair and would recommend anyone consider them and would also try them again!

Work was done as per estimate, on price and on time. The crew was very prompt, attentive to neighbors' request concerning the entry upon their property. Work was very professional-looking and well done. Crew was fast and thorough!

They were punctual, and they did a good job. My husband is a welder, and he looked at how they had welded the wrought iron. He was very satisfied with their work. Their price was good.

The work crew showed up on time and worked consistently through the day; however, they didn't bring enough pickets so they had to come back the next day to finish. For such a small job one day should have been sufficient. They showed up promptly the next morning and started work. I left shortly thereafter. When I returned home, the crew had finished and left. Upon examining the completed fence, I realized that the spacing between the pickets had changed and the "shadow box" effect had been lost as a result. When I called the next morning to report this problem, I was assured that the company would make it right. A work crew did return in a couple of days and adjusted the pickets to my satisfaction. I really like the way this fence looks. Whenever I have to replace the rest of my fence, I will install the same type of fence. Although there were a couple of problem, Cy-Fair did a good job, they addressed my concerns, and I would use them again.

Cy Fair Fence did a superb job. I was even more pleased than I expected to be. They removed every bit of the old fence, jackhammered the wooden posts out of the concrete, and installed a 3/4" wrought iron fence with a gate. I had them move the gate to a new location from the old one, which meant they needed to jackhammer an extra hole in the concrete. Since one of the old gate post holes was no longer needed, they filled it in with concrete and smoothed it over nicely. The new fence was installed very nicely; no bolts were used to mount against the house, garage, or patio concrete. New iron posts were concreted very firmly into the patio. In the picture provided, the concrete around the posts was still curing, which is why it's so visible. This was a VERY professional job and my wife and I are so pleased that we chose this company. During the quote process, my multiple phone calls (for followup questions) were either answered immediately or if I had to leave a message, my call was returned pretty promptly. They arrived to do the work at the day and time they said. They removed every bit of the old fencing and left nothing behind except the old gate hardware that I said I wanted to keep. It's very nice to do business with a company that truly shows an interest in good workmanship and pays full attention to all aspects of the job (communication, reliability, the actual work, and cleanup).

I contacted several gate companies to get a bid. Only two returned my call. One company quoted a price of $1000 more than Cy-Fair. Ray was always prompt when returning a phone call. The only problem I had was, I assumed the work would have included hooking up the electric to the gate. Cy-Fair does not do that and I had to arrange for an electrician to hook that up after the gates were in.
