Custom Windows of Texas

I've used Custom Windows to replace windows on 2 different homes in Houston, and they have done a great job. They are easy to work with, competitive with price, and offer great quality windows. The underpromise and overdeliver--my windows were ready a month early. They are also flexible to work with and were able to do the install even though I could not be there. They also went above and beyond when I had a couple small requests to add onto the job that really helped me out. I had a ceiling water leak that they identified during the install, and they shut off the water for me and bought a bucket to catch the dripping water. All they billed me for was at cost of the bucket--$6. And since I could not be there to put the blinds back up, they came back the next day to do it as a courtesy. A company I can really trust that treats my house like their own. I highly recommend.

It went great. I had used the company once before to replace all of the windows on my prior home, and had a very positive experience, so it was a no brainer to use them again. The sales process was painless, as was installation, and the windows look spectacular. I opted for the top of the line Energy Core windows, to gain some additional energy efficiency, but they look spectacular too. I like dealing with this company because they are honest, do good work, and take pride in their work. I recommend them without hesitation.

With the holidays in full swing, I didn't mind that responses to my emails to set up an appointment was lagged, however, I was quite disappointed in the end. The initial email response from Michael stated that it wouldn't be a problem to come out, give a quote on a single window, and the one for all the windows. Michael was very nice and I was looking forward to seeing what we could get to redesign the look of our home. We were handed over to Todd for a call back and do our disappointment, we were told via phone that our window was not worth his time to even come out and take a look. Not what we expected at all.

The installation was very professional, they completely cleaned up after the installation. The windows are of high quality, fit perfectly and are attractive to look at. Would highly recommend this vendor. If possible deal directly with Michael,the owner.

This company does a really excellent job of installing windows. Everything was perfect and they cleaned up really well.

The installation team was very professional, on time and were efficient. They had a good manner. Mike during the sales phase was informative and open to questions. The only concern we had is that the caulk on the outside took longer - more than a few days - to set due to humidity. It hasn't affected performance but was concerned about dirt sticking to it. However Mike, the owner, had made clear that he would fix anything that was wrong.

Mike and his team did a first class job from measuring, explaining the options, giving us samples to decide with, and most importantly, references from other satisfied customers. His installation crew were as perfect as one could ask for in terms of a flawless installation, cleanup and leaving the house in as new condition. Mike was the only window company that could replace ALL our windows. Don't be mislead by the other window suppliers as they cannot replace all the windows with exactly the same product or decline to bid on all the window replacements.

The owner (Michael Shoemaker) was very nice and not pushy at all. The only thing I wish he did when he came over to our house initially was to bring more window samples (not just pictures). His group of installers were very efficient and friendly, and I found out that 3 of the 4 were eagle scouts. They were very clean and careful not to make a mess since they had to break the old windows to remove them and they had to keep shards of glass from flying all over the place. Have no worries about hiring Custom Windows. I got another quote from a well-known window company and they were much more expensive, and only were going to use 4 millimeter. Custom Windows uses better materials, plus they had much better prices. I have recommended Custom Windows to friends and relatives, and have had at least two (maybe three) hire them to replace their windows. I only wish we could get a "kickback" for referrals (maybe a free window cleaning)? :-)

We had "Custom Windows" replace all of windows in the brick home we were remodeling. We were living out of state at the time and all of the arrangement were made by phone and e-mail. When we arrived at our new home months later we were so pleased with the windows, they were exactly the windows We wanted. They serpassed our expectation. The staff worked with us in a friendly and informative manner thouout the entire long distance process. The windows were completed and installed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them for any new or replacement windows.

From introduction, measurement and deliver the process was friendly and efficient.
