+ -1 moreThis company also operates as Sundial Services and Visual Integrity Landscape Designs. Owner Craig Jacobs seems a super nice and well intentioned guy but its all talk I'm afraid. Residentially after the first trip the service declined and then they just did not show up so on the residential part I fired them after two trips. For the Homeowners Association they were contracted to mow, edge and treat the property for ants etc. In addition the new signage (a beautiful stone sign) was supposed to be completed and be the focal point for the 10 year anniversary celebration of the community. We were left high and dry after 5 months of trying to contact him and his staff. We logged dozens and dozens of calls and e-mails and begged for a reply but ended up having to cancel and eat the cost of the anniversary preparations. The mowing of the frontage entrance to the Community was OK but we were charged for insect treatments that were never done and then they left us hanging and did not show up to complete the mowing segment of the contract which ironically they would not let us out of when we asked them to take the high road, let us out of the contract and just disappear into the sunset after letting us down so badly on the sign. The sign is now under preparation with another company. We have heard no more from Craig Jacobs and his team. Do not recommend under any circumstances!
Description of Work: For personal needs I hired Craig Jacobs to a general mow, edge, etc. on my own yard. Secondly he was hired by myself on behalf of the local homeowners association I hired him to take care of the frontage property and to design and install stone signage at the entrance of the subdivison.

+ -1 moreCraig was thorough in the planning and design. His crew was very particular in their installation of a 53 ft. long retaining wall. They removed an existing 20 ft. long retaining wall and built one designed to eliminate movement of earth near foundation of home built near a canal leading to Lake Conroe. Craig will come back after six months for an inspection. I recommend Curb Appeal Landscapes, LLC for your retaining wall needs. Jim Gibson

+ -1 moreWe have been using this company for our lawn mowing services for almost 10 years. Great service at a great price. However, since mid July 2013, after 3 wks that the mowing crew didn't show up to mow, we called and emailed Craig Jacobs a dozen times. Answering service took messages, but no return calls. Finally, phone line stopped working. Looks like company is out of business...

+ 0 moreCraig showed up on time and looked at my landscaping problems. He said he would have a plan e-mailed to me by Wednesday next week (1/30/13). Today is 2/19/13 and as of today I have not heard from him.
Description of Work: I called on 1/15/13 and again on 1/17/13. An appointment was scheduled for 1/24/13 at 9 or 9:30 am to estimate some landscaping.

Description of Work: Craig and his team created a complete backyard escape with little to no guidance from us. I didn't have to know the name of any plants or flowers, I simply described the ambience we wanted, and he delivered- and for a very competitive price. Not only did Curb Appeal create a patio, but also constructed a pergola, and added landscaping all around. The team started, and completed the project while we were gone on vacation. Later last year, Craig came back and we changed some of the landscaping, and yet again, I loved everything he and his team did to our property. Even if plants are taken from the property to be replaced by something else, the existing plants are recycled for use elsewhere. We also had a tree replaced that was going to cause damage to our property as it grew. The Curb Appeal team is professional and courteous, and they leave no mess behind when they complete the job.
