It went very well. He showed up promptly, quickly diagnosed all problems, provided me with a detailed estimate, and completed the work quickly. I will certainly hire again.

First of all, the date of service is approximate. It was around Thanksgiving so I just picked a date in mid-November. We needed some electrical work performed at our house. Specifically, we needed to install three outdoor outlets, replace two bathroom exhaust fans, and replace a receptacle in our game room. The ratings for Cravens Electric appeared to be good so we purchased a Big Deal from Angie's List for electrical services. Cravens Electric was prompt in calling us back and was very responsive in informing us about an appointment that needed to be rescheduled. They came out promptly at the rescheduled time, and were very courteous and professional. I explained the work to be performed and asked for an estimate. They went around and looked at everything and came back with an estimate for about $3,200.00. In my opinion, the estimate was unusually high so I told them that I will definitely have to get a second estimate. I was able to get a handyman to perform all of the above work and also replace the toilet tank mechanism because the toilet kept running. The handyman worked with a licensed electrician and got all that done for about $900.00 including the cost of materials and labor. They were very polite, professional and worked as fast as possible. They had it all done including repainting the wall they had to cut open to install one outdoor outlet. The estimate from Cravens Electric was so out of line that I was simply speechless. Now I am stuck with a Big Deal that is practically useless because we don't need any more electrical work performed. Angie's List will not refund the money because we did not cancel it within the 30 days' time limit. We have another couple of months before we lose our money altogether unless we find another Big Deal that we can use before this one expires. I am sure I will not call on Cravens Electric again, and I am not sure if I will buy another Big Deal from Angie's List again.

The GFI switch in the bathroom that my wife uses for her hair dryer and curlers had gone out. I purchased the deal and called them for scheduling. They were able to come out within a few a days arrived on time to the appointment. He found that all four outlets on our counter were on the same GFI switch. He thought that it may have been getting overloaded and he installed other ones for us. There were no additional costs for the labor, but I did purchase the additional parts. The cost was very reasonable. I would call them back for additional work if needed.

I purchased 2 hours of electrical service for $99. This was an Angie's List Special Purchase. When the technician arrived. I received a $200 credit but had to pay an additional $310 for the work. The total time was less than two hours, which included 20 minutes for the technician to price the itemized cost of the work. This was a switch from the terms of the original agreement.

They were very good in responding to me, the cost was just more than I was looking for.

The electricians were punctual, friendly and did the job right. They replaced electrical outlets and light switches in several rooms. They also replaced several Hollywood lights with new light fixtures in three bathroom. On another job, they replaced two fluorescent light fixtures with four can lights. They were conscientious and cleaned up all the sheet rock mess. They really did a great job. Cravens Electric is definitely my electrician of choice and I don't hesitate referring them to family, friends, co-workers and clients.

I will say that the price is a little high but you get what you pay for... and I am more than happy to pay for these guys. They showed up when they said they would. They where able to adjust their work / get new parts when something didn't work. They cleaned up. And the next day they came out and fixed something that wasn't working. This company is great and I will use them again.

I wanted a can light wired to another less than 6 feet away with attic access. This can be quoted by any company. From the offer it appeared be within the $99.00 for $200.00 of labor. The company wanted $59.00 to come out and quote, $59 applied to job if I went ahead. I do not want to pay for anybody to give me any quote they want. They may or may not be OK but I do not want to pay to find out! As there is a 30 day refund policy please refund my charge card. Date & A forced!

Responsive, Friendly, Polite, Professional! I cannot say enough about this company! From the refreshingly delightful person answering their phones all the way down the line thru each and every employee that I came in contact with. Nothing I requested was too difficult or too much for them. They were very patient and explained everything to me in detail. My husband has classic cars and they took great pains to make sure that no harm came to them. Everything was moved out of the way while they worked. Wnen they were finished, they cleaned everything up and moved everything back into place. Personall, I think it was neater than when they started. The work was exactly what we agreed on and everything was done perfectly! I would not hesitate to hire Cravens for your electrical work!

From the beginning Cravens Electric provided excellent customer service. I called on a Tuesday for work needed on a Friday, and the lady who answered the phone was super helpful and friendly. She took the time to answer all my questions even though it was a fairly simple job. Due to some unforeseen circumstances (a large emergency job the day before), Cravens was unable to make our appointment on Friday. At first Cravens believed they would just be late, and kept me posted on the timing. Unfortunately the emergency job lasted two days (including the entire day Friday). Friday afternoon they called back and asked if they could reschedule for the following week, but we informed them that we were hosting a party Saturday and really needed them out. I appreciated the fact that they kept us posted on what was going on, came up with options and were very apologetic. Because we needed the work completed by Saturday evening, they sent an electrician Saturday morning to take care of everything. He (Jason I believe) came in and was upbeat and friendly - despite probably working on very little sleep - and was a joy to work with. He even brought a broom and swept up what little dust there was. I would definitely use (and plan on using) Cravens in the future - they seem like a very solid family owned business. You can tell from the moment you call that they are customer focused and realize that little details are important. This situation could have been an aggravating one - but because they were focused on customer service and were in constant communication, we were even more impressed than if they were able to make the original appointment time.

They did a good job. They showed up when they suppose to, went diagnosis, and did it for their luck they said they would. They went good. The price was reasonable. So far, it is working out. They were responsive, punctual, and professional.

Oscar Rosales and his crew consisting of Stephan, Renee and a young helper are professionals in every sense and I unhesitatingly recommend them. They clearly care about the quality of their work and your home. The work they did for me was not run of the mill. The new ceiling fans they installed are Big A** fans that required assembly and unusual installation. The chandelier is a Foscarini Big Bang chandelier that also required tricky assemblage and precise wiring and placement over a large kitchen island on the second floor of a four story townhouse. The bathroom fans required extra skill and effort because builder's grade fans were replaced with considerably larger, more powerful fans. The crew arrived on time and worked late so the job was completed in one day. They were very respectful of my home, placing mats and plastic everywhere, not banging around with ladders and tools, cleaning up completely with a vacuum (and offering to mop my kitchen floor even!). They were very careful assembling and installing fixtures - I didn't cringe worrying they were going to damage items I had spent considerable money on. They were respectful of each other and me, making certain I was completely happy with the height of the chandelier and knew how to work the dimmers and fans for example. As well, Oscar was very upfront and straightforward about what everything would cost so there were no surprises. The crew did as little damage as possible cutting in to drywall to wire the light, light switch and plugs and to install the bathroom fans, much less than I was anticipating. I couldn't be happier with the work.

I've used Cravens twice. 1) last summer to bury electrical from pole to house and replace/upgrade breaker box necessary for the pool I was having built. Justin and his crew were very fast and efficient. They got this done in one day. 2) This time, I needed outside power put in the front and back; two outlets put in the garage for a refrigerator and tools; upgrade my kitchen outlets; add two recessed lights in the kitchen and 2 on the front porch. Oscar and his crew are very nice. I'm remodeling my kitchen and Oscar listens to what I want to do and gives good advice. They took a full day to do all the things I needed and even helped me move my refrigerator to the garage. I will only use Cravens for my electrical work from now on.

Provided same day service when I couldn't get multiple other companies to call back. Provider was professional and knowledgable. Will update later on quality as hard to determine until issues doesn't return but definitely fixed the issue quickly and with confidence.

They are a good company and I had a good experience with them.

Justin is great! He showed up when promised and worked all day, as it was a big job. He told us in advance how to go about notifying the electric company, and provided the parts we needed. He is a life saver.

We had a lot of contractors do work on our old house over the past few years, but none of them have been as courteous, friendly, trustworthy and reliable as these guys. We highly recommend them! Their pricing is maybe a tiny bit higher than some other contractors, but still competitive. They have done rewiring of a lot of older houses in the West U/ Southgate area, and we have only heard positive comments from others who have used them (they came recommended by others in our HOA initially). We wish all contractors were as diligent, reliable and conscientious as these guys!

They were a little late showing up, but only by about 45 minutes (and they were coming early anyway). Once there they got right to work and worked straight through till about 5pm. The crew was professional and did a wonderful job replacing the outdated electrical service to my new (to me) house. Justin Cravens came by to see the work twice, and was nice enough to take the time to come inside and answer some questions about some outlets in the house even though his phone was ringing off the hook and he had 4 other places to be. The crew did exactly as I asked, cleaned up very well, and tolerated me and my dog for the duration of the work. The price and workmanship were wonderful for the amount of work there was. I would hire Cravens again in a heartbeat.

They were prompt. They got the work done in a single day. They did the work with minimal damage. There were no repairs needed after they replaced the wiring.

I called Justin, he gave me an estimate that seemed a little high. I suggested that a lower price seemed more reasonable, and he agreed to do the job for that amount. (Other electricians I called wouldn't give an estimate without coming to the house and would charge for that visit, if we didn't have them do the work). Justin was able to schedule for the next morning. His two workers arrived promptly, asked appropriate questions about placement and use, did the work quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. Altogether a very pleasant experience.
