+ -1 more.Most of the details are in the box above. The entire staff were polite and treated me professionally. I never felt like they were taking advantage of my situation. The quote they gave me was low based on it taking many more hours than 1st proposing their plan of action. They stuck to that quote, only extra charge was the new hard drive, a reasonable $100.00. I have been slowly updating my proprietary software and am 100% satisfied with their service!
Description of Work: Analyzed why my laptop would not boot, determined Windows was corrupt(?) Backed up original drive, was able to get all the data which is good considering the state of my hard drive. Reloaded Windows. Making sure everything was OK, found that the drive was about to stop working, recommended to replace drive. Replaced drive, loaded the backup. Tested and all well. Offered to support with online connection to my laptop if I needed to.

As in, they are always on time, always efficient, always knowledgeable, always professional, always successful in solving our problems, always quick to respond when we have a legitimate emergency need, always a good value, and a vendor that we plan to use always! In particular, Jonathan knows all things computer, but he is an accounting professional who also understands business and that is a huge plus for us. Jonathan and his team have been an invaluable resource for our company.
Description of Work: We found Jonathan and his team at Computer Wiz via Angie's List some months ago and they have been the sole provider of computer services for our business since that time. They have assisted with the instillation of a new computer network, the removal of malware from our office computers and our company website, and they have improved the overall efficiency of our computer hardware and software.

+ -1 moreI placed a phone call to Computer-Wiz on 03/16/2015 and took the computers in. Marc Called me to discuss the repairs. System maintenance cleaning was done on the Dell Desktop and Wipe and configure windows on the Acer Laptop Computer. also Titanium Internet security on Both Computers They working very well. The staff was very courteous and nice, All of my questions was answered and I am very pleased. I would recommend and use them again.
Description of Work: I took in two Computes. One Acer Laptop and one Dell Desktop Computer in for service. Both systems now work very good.

Description of Work: Using remote access, they cleaned up my computer after a virus infestation. On previous visits to the house, they have installed a new computer and debugged an old one that had been running slowly. We've worked with two technicians there, and both have been very professional and highly knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

Upgraded my software and applications for speakers from real tech, which was missing over 100 necessary upgrades downloaded ... Enhanced my internet speed, and explained while these improvements were downloaded.

Description of Work: I was looking for an alternative to the high priced cable and satellite services so I had an attenna installed for my home which allows me to watch local channels with better quality than cable or satellite. I still wanted the ability to record programs for later viewing so I asked the guys at Computer Wiz if they could help and they found a perfect media computer that allows me to watch and record shows for later viewing using Windows Media Center without having to pay those large monthly fees to the cable company. Stan especially made it his personal mission to find me just the right computer at a good price to meet my needs. It's always a pleasure to work with the crew at Computer Wiz.
