+ -1 moreDavid is personable and patient with this consumer who is virtually illiterate as to computers. He has encouraged me to contact him via his email with any questions.
Description of Work: Initially called because computer was starting up very slowly. Also had a problem with anti-virus program. Difficulty with both these tasks despite working five hours the first day. Returned the following week, worked two more hours and then recommended he take computer to his place of business for repairs (Tuesday). Returned computer on Thursday having unloaded and reinstalled all programs. Software for two new programs were installed including a new antivirus and additional memory. Installed a video camera which we already owned.

+ -1 moreDid a good job. Gave me some hints on how to keep my system safe and improved it overall. He had to come on 2 occasions, because I had to go to exchange the cable modem and purchase a battery backup. The 1st time he spent 3 hours there and charged $150, the 2nd time he spent about 2 hours and charged the same amt. I thought the 2nd visit would have been $50 less but hey, he did a good job, so I didn't negotiate.
Description of Work: Configured 3 computers in my home and installed battery backup, and new Time Warner modem, after identifying the problem of slow speeds on Roadrunner with the modem. Time Warner Cable had done a test over the phone and told me that it was not their equipment that was bad and that I should hire an independent contractor, to find the problem prior to calling this company.

+ -1 moreHE WAS VERY HELPFUL OVER THE PHONE. I EXPLAINED WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY COMPUTER AND HE GUIDED ME TO CALL HP AND HAVE THEM REPAIR MY COMPUTER. HE AS VERY HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS IN ANSWERING ALL MY QUESTIONS AND HELPING ME FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO.
