Description of Work: They were here very quickly and did good work. I think they charged me a bit more than they should have for the toilet they put in. The toilet was a little lower quality than I was expecting.

Description of Work: They replaced the water heater, the overflow valve, and numerous faucets.

Description of Work: We are selling our home and the inspectors found that our gas water heater was not vented so we needed the work completed quickly. I called and they repaired it the next day! The workers and office staff were friendly, professional, and prompt. I'm not sure if the price was excellent or not as I didn't phone other plumbers.

Description of Work: They arrived on time and ready to work. They replaced the faucet in the kitchen and even gave me some get advice on other upgrades in the kitchen. Will definitely be calling them again.

Description of Work: Scoped out issues with sewer line. Found that my husband had driven a stake through our clay sewer pipes (circa 1920). Excavated this issue to replace it, and found that the clay pipes were fractured all along the way and had to replace the entire line from the main to the house. Worked very diligently and quickly - all the guys were nice and professional. They carefully dug trench by hand to excavate sewer line with no damage to other pipes - saved all my sod and even the plants they had to remove and replaced them at the end. Washed up the driveway, sidewalk and replaced brick pavers after they were finished. A very positive plumbing experience (except for the sewage part).

Description of Work: We had a gas leak from somewhere and they came and tested everything and found the leak and fixed it. Loved it! Wonderful!

Description of Work: They showed up on time. They provided me an estimate before starting and honored the coupon. After they installed the new garbage disposer, they even fixed a pipe under the sink and didn't charge me for it. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Called up and explained the gurgling sound from my drain. He asked me if I had had any recent air conditioning work done. I said yes. He walked me through the process of fixing the vent in my attic. Took 2 seconds. I'll hire this company if I need plumbing work done!

Description of Work: A little disappointed here. I called to have them come out and repair a kitchen faucet that was leaking. I was told there was a $65 charge to come out which would be applied to the service if I used them. I don't remember the hourly rate they quoted me, but I don't remember it being above $100. They also said they would be there between 11 am and 1 pm. I got a call at 12:50 pm telling me they were on their way. They got to my house at 1:25 pm and the job was done by 1:32 pm--it really only required a new washer (i just couldn't figure out how to unscrew the d*** thing or I would have done it myself.) They did the work and it was Ok--the faucet didn't drip, but the handle is on a little crooked now. They tell me it is my faucet. Nevertheless, no worries as the work seems fine and I am not downgrading them because of the work. However, when they left they insisted on $145. That comes out to $1,242.85 an hour. I thought I would be charged the $65 plus another $20-30. Not $65 plus$80. I usually tip my contractors--in this case--I felt they were tipped more than enough. While they were professional, and they did do the job, due to the high cost--I won't use them again. $85 to $95 seemed a fair price--$145? not cool.

Description of Work: Replaced washing machine valves in the laundry room. Had to make a cut into the drywall in order to make replace the valves as there was not enough exposed pipe. Replaced and repaired the drywall. looks good as new. I do not realize a plumber had to be a drywall expert also. Reasonalbe price considering all that was done. The valves that were replaced were about 30 years old.

Description of Work: Installed a valve from kitchen sink to dishwasher in order to install new dishwasher. In order to meet delivery schedule, Chavez, Inc. rescheduled. Were on time, very professional; will have these folks for additional plumbing.

Description of Work: They found our problem within 5 minutes and told us it was an easy fix. We thought we had water leak inside sheatrock. And it turned out it was just a loose seal on the shower head!! Thanks Chavez plumbing!

Description of Work: The water regulator broker off of my shower handle. I went to Angie's list and picked a company that fortunately did a very nice job of the repair. I was visiting with the workman and learned that he had not ever worked on a shower handle/regulator such as mine. That didn't seem to stop him from doing a fine job of going to a plumbing supply, buying the right part, and installing it. I would certainly use this company again.

Description of Work: I needed to find out if the water leak beside the water meter was mine or my neighbor's. In about eight minutes, I was assured that the leak was NOT mine--whew! I requested that the results would be in writing. They quickly complied on the invoice and, after accepting my check, were on their way. From their arrival to departure took less than 15 minutes.
