Description of Work: Opened walls, replaced all faulty brass 90s used in initial construction... break down of 2 such parts caused extensive water damage. They were quick to attend to repairs, polite and professional. Pricey, but reliable.

Description of Work: We installed a new gas cooktop and found there was no gas going to that line. After investigating, it was found that we had a 6 inch rupture in the line under the house. They repaired this with state of art work materials without having to dig up my kitchen floor!

Description of Work: They were awesome. Arrived promptly, provided us with estimates, and stuck to their original estimates even when the scope of work turned out to be a little bit more involved than they had initially realised. They fixed a leaky faucet, replaced some hose bibs outdoors, fixed the air switch on a jacuzzi tub that hadn't worked for two years, and replaced a leaky shower pan. Once the demo on the shower pan was complete they realised they also had to replace the pea trap, which they did free of charge. They were courteous, prompt, and fast. I haven't had any further problems with anything that they have touched. I had several bids from different companies for the same job, and I felt like the Chavez guys were more decisive and confident than other plumbers I had consulted, including Abacus. The owner surveyed my home's plumbing like an experienced clinician; he knew exactly where to look for access doors, wiring, etc. I showed other plumbers the jacuzzi tub access based on where I had seen Chavez looking; one of them told me I would need to have the whole tub removed and replaced until I told him that Chavez had found other access. Needless to say, I went with Chavez once I realised that he seemed to know what he was doing better than the other companies. I was not disappointed.

Description of Work: We have used Chavez three times. and they are ALWAYs on time, and respond immediately! We have been ripped off by so many plumbing companies. They are not cheap, but they are good, responsive, and on time. What a pleasure. Thanks to Angie's list!!!!

Description of Work: I called couple other pluming companies on New Year Eve's morning and Chavez is only company I got to spoke with a real person. The technicians came on time and very quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it very quick as well. They were in and out of my house within 20 - 25 minutes. I understanding this is an easy fix but I am not pluming expert and so I think they are great company and provide great, efficient service on New Year Eve! They replaced the kitchen sink hole and carry hardware with them around without running in and out of my house for hardware. The price is decent maybe a little expensive but hey my sink has been leaking for over 3 weeks and my husband wouldn't fix it so I have to take matter to my own hand and I am happy that it is finally not leaking and I get to wash dishes in a normal pattern. Will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I hired Chavez Plumbing to come and give me a third opinion. He recommended a simple solution and only what needed to be done. Not trying to up sell to a larger project. ARS gave an estimate of $850, including opening sheetrock that they would not repair Mr Chavez estimate was $169 and didi not include opening sheetrock GO FIGURE!!! The short version. We will let you know if we need to run a snake again, both plumbers said they needed to run a snake. WE are done with ARS for Good,thank you.What about you? Mr Chavez helped us twice and we will be calling their services again Good,thank you.What about you? JOB!!!!

Description of Work: My husband recently passed away and we have a tankless water heater. I called the manufacture and they referred a local company. The local company couldn't come out for 4 days from the date of my call. Their standard fee would have been $138 for the first hour...$95 per hour thereafter. I just joined Angies List about 3 weeks agoso I looked up 'plumbing' and read the reviews of Chavez Plumbing and called them yesterday. Today they arrived on time as promised - repaired my water heater and gave me 10% off the bill. $184.50!!! They are the BEST!!!! Thank you so much for being honest, hardworking Americans!!!

Description of Work: We asked for someone to see if our garbabe disposal was deal or not and if it was, to install a new one. When the guy arrived, on time, he walked in looked under the sink and turned on the switch and said, the garbage disposal was dead. We said to go ahead and install one. He said he didn't have one on the truck. We said we would purchase one. He said ok, we can come back tomorrow. We paid the $65.00 for diagnostics. When the guy came back, he had another worker with him. Prior to them returning, we asked if they could check the toilet in the half bath. It was very slow flushing and draining. They were here for less than an hour. The toilet still has trouble, but the garbage disposal works fine. My main complaint is the total cost. We brought the garbage disposal from Lowes and they still charged us an additional $215.00 That sounds like a big labor charge to me. Am I wrong??? So the total we paid to Chavez was $380.00??????

Description of Work: This was the true "EZ" button of experiences! I had a gas leak in my water heater. I called, got a same-day appointment . Mr. Chavez was experienced and prepared for everything. He was in and out in no time...problem solved.

Description of Work: Was not done with the professionalism expected from a reputable plumbing company and that charges a $65 price for a service call.. two individuals came for the job on time. They identified the cause of a leak in my attic, took a picture to show me and said it would cost $385 to fix the leak . I knew this was the a/c condensate drain pipe was only feet from the outlet to drain outside. I was not given a written estimate for parts and labor. I asked them why it was so high for a few feet of PVC and please break that down into parts and labor. Instead they called the Master Plumber Chavez , they spoke to him and I then asked to speak to him . I explained the $65 price for service call was too high, and why should the estimate be so high for the amount of work and parts. He explained that there were 2 men...I told him I did not want to pay for 2 men if the repair did not require it, and that I thought $200 would be fair. He returned with a price of $240 . I paid this as I needed to get the leak fixed that day and could not afford another day off from work. . The time taken to do the job was 30 minutes. I felt that they should have a written estimate for $65, they were unprofessional and tried to take advantage of the situation ... it was not a good experience and one that should never be repeated for any customer.

Description of Work: Plumber installed a new Kohler faucet in our kitchen. The original faucet was leaking and had to be replaced. Chavez Plumbing came out on a Saturday to determine that the leak under the sink was connected to the leaking faucet. I showed the plumber some options I had picked out to replace the faucet and he okayed either choice and said to go ahead and order one and when it came in he would return and install it. It took less than half an hour and they cleaned up the work area and removed the old parts from the premises.

Description of Work: Chavez Plumbing replaced broken water line. Ran a water line for my refrigerator. Rplaced the main sewage line from the toliet to the middle of the yard. Also replace drainage lines from the kithen sink, bathrrom sink and bathtub.
